Let her catch her own mice! (I mean let Viola, not the Queen mom.) It'll take care of the padding. Also, it'll acquaint her with the harsh realities of life. I'm getting a sense you're spoiling those kittens just a wee bit.

Ain't no mouse in my house.

The Queen Mum and my darling Viola are genteelly well padded (or was, in the Queen Mum's case).

Viola is also fond of feathers.

Does Viola also happen to have a taste for gin and Dubonnet?

@dlowan,
Rage...sputtering purple rage! Woke up to huge crash. Kitten had jumped from high cabinet onto library table, knocking off two won derful Deco lamps and two chinese stone figurines. Broke leg off table. Broke head off one figurine. Want to kill cat in painful ways. Kitten lying low somewhere in house.

@dlowan,
And now rage here!

Viola just pissed on my goddam quilt!!

At least I think it was she.

She was playing between folds of the quilt....suddenly looked shocked....and began doing burying waste movements and shaking her back legs because her feet were wet......so I looked and found this massive wee!

These kittens drink a lot and it shows.

I was able to blot some off and used the stink remover spray, but I suspect that's it andi need a new quilt.

God knows what possessed her.

@ehBeth,
You're not telling me the queen mum wet her quilt?

She liked to GET a wee tad pissed, not piss on stuff!

How are your darling woollies tonight, Deb?

No doubt they're really happy that the weekend is finally here, so they now have your full attention! Smile

Has Sebastian recovered from his near-disastrous washing machine experience last weekend?

I came across this Cornish Rex/washing machine video on youtube.

These two were definitely transfixed by the whole washing machine thing! Such curious cats!

@msolga,
olga, These two are watching something moving. What cat wouldn't be transfixed by that. Sebastian got in the washer when nothing was moving!

Still gives me a palpitation.

@msolga,
Cute is cute,,,but ruining my quilt still rankles....especially when I have no money to replace it or pay the bills!

I am refinancing but it keeps getting held up by the terrible quality of work photocopier.

FIVE times I have shown/sent ID....STILL dramas.

Jesus ******* wept.

@dlowan,
Aw, I'm really sorry, possum.

Sounds utterly maddening.

When you say you're refinancing, does that mean you'll be staying put, at your present place?

@msolga,
Looks that way.....as I said somewhere earlier, the strata fees have remained crazy, and there's another possible levy coming up....both of which lower the likely sale price.

I'll likely try and wait it out and hope the fees come down once we have enough for the lifts. And try and get mortgage down asap.
