Given the recent discoveries about the perpetual kittenhood of the Cornish Rex the thread title seems brilliantly appropriate.

@ehBeth,
Groooooooaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnn

Have just tidied house.

Have found a number of things I thought lost.....others remain elusive.

Of course, a tidy house is simply a laid down gauntlet to the woollies.

@dlowan,
1. The dryer thing gives me chills. Reminds me of little Patty, who used to burrow her way under things in my suitcase every time I packed for a trip. I always checked before I left the house.

2. Dork factor, shmork factor. Some people cannot be dorks regardless of what they're doing or how they look. You are one of those people. You may feel dorky, but others won't see you that way.

Yes...damn thing won't let you open door once water starts. I'd have had to smash the glass.....IF I heard him.....they have such faint voices.

@Roberta,
I'm a born dork.

It was the washer. I don't know if that's worse or better. Worse I guess.

I think the occasional walk on the outside will keep them in line. It instills a message: "I took you in, I can throw you out again. Now do you want to behave?"

@Thomas,
If Sebastian had his way we'd be walking half the day, I think.

Viola seemed pretty interested too.

@dlowan,
Maybe you could do the cat-cam thing with them someday?

@Thomas,
Too many photos of me would result...from especially unflattering angles!

@dlowan,
deb, Disagreeing about the dorkitude. Don't you think I know a dork when I see one. I saw you. You ain't one.

Gasping about the washer.

My friends up north just adopted a grown cat. Their neighbor died. They took in Hidey. Waiting for stories. Hidey is an outdoor cat. We'll see how destructive she is on the inside.

@mags314772,
We had a couple of quiet days with the woollies.....less extensive damage when I got home, big game with their new mouse when I got home and a big love fest...then quiet woollies.

Tonight....woolly madness, led by Viola. Just had a good long game of woolly fetch (mainly meaning Viola fetches) with a black plastic tie. Her estimate of my intelligence went up when I found her stretched out near front door, and opened it for her so she could recover her toy. I need to find something similar I can SEE..

She nearly took my toes off through the doonah last night....

All the books and net say they'll go crazy over cardboard boxes and a number of them are a MUST. Mine ignore them.

I am wondering if I need to cut down on food...Viola is beginning to resemble the Queen Mother figure wise....

@dlowan,
Funny about the cardboard boxes. Our cats LOVE them....the caveier, the better. Our largest cat, Max, likes to smash himself into the smallest possible box, from which he hangs over on all sides. And speaking of hanging over, it might well be you need to pare down kitty calories.

The Queen Mum and my darling Viola are genteelly well padded (or was, in the Queen Mum's case).

Viola is also fond of feathers.

@dlowan,
Let her catch her own mice! (I mean let Viola, not the Queen mom.) It'll take care of the padding. Also, it'll acquaint her with the harsh realities of life. I'm getting a sense you're spoiling those kittens just a wee bit.
