Just did ears.

Sebastian is still talking to me...not sure about Viola.

Nails done.

Ears done.

@msolga,
We rest.

They're licking each other emphatically and looking at me balefully.

They are united in adversity.

I feel awful.

But ITS ALL FOR THEIR OWN GOOD!

@dlowan,
It is!
It is!
Don't feel bad.
They'll understand when they're older. Smile

@msolga,
Whew...they're talking to me again.

Cleaner loved them...she dared venture into their study today.

I don't think they'll UNDERSTAND when they're older. I just hope they'll be more RESIGNED.

I am covered in ear cleaning fluid.

@dlowan,
Oh good.
At least they don't hold grudges, or sulk, for long!

Perhaps you could do yours, too, while you're at it? Razz

@msolga,
I have remarkably waxless ears, it appears....my hearing aid hasn't needed any cleaning!

I just tripped over this thread and am following it madly. I do hope things work out with the strata, Sebastian's teeth, and the situation in general.

The woollies sound wonderful - exhausting, engaging, entertaining, all to the max.

@Tomkitten,
How kind of you Tomkitten!!

They don't bear thinking about this morning....Sebastian bolted his kibble, and kindly regurgitated it on my bed, from whence they both reincorporated it, and then wanted to kiss me good morning. Following which Viola sneezed heartily in my face.

Still it woke me again after my alarm failed to do the job.

Now they are trying to destroy the banister brush.

I also note they brought a number of their toys to bed...but fortunately not the calf's ear.

@dlowan,
Is Sebastian showing any signs of pain because of his double set of teeth? And if not, can't you just wait? They have to fall out by themselves eventually.

@dlowan,
ahhhhhh cats! regurgitation followed by reincorporation. It's classic, and you didn't puke this time! Progress.

I wonder if some of the obsessive biting is due to pain. Thing is, they DON'T necessarily fall out. What happens is the milk tooth root fails to dissolve, as it should. It can cause decay between the two teeth, and eventually terrible abscesses and septicaemia.

I am wiggling them a bit....but they need vaccinations soon, so I will have it checked and the vet will advise.

@mags314772,
You said a mouthful.

This morning, immediately after using the Loo.....fortunately only for liquid relief... I was forced to abandon my post precipitately to attend to a boiling kettle....without performing the usual rituals such as flushing and closing the lid.

Sadly, this was the day Sebastian finally achieved his ambition to fall into the toilet.

He was quite distressed so I hope he is cured of that endeavor.

Am I allowed to laugh at this? I'm laughing with or without permission.

@Roberta,
Of course, he needed to be cuddled before his distress abated.....(he was pretty much sobbing) so my nightdress has joined the bathmat etc in the washing machine.

@dlowan,
Oh poor kitty...

I mean, terrible kitty.

But <sobbing>! Poor guy.

Hopefully such a traumatic introduction to the loo will keep him well away from now on, hydrophilia and all. (Oooh, I created that word and then looked it up to see if it meant about what I wanted it to mean, and it doesn't, exactly. But you know what I mean and I like it so I'm keeping it.)

@sozobe,
You like it as Sebastian likes the loo. He nearly fell in again next time the lid was left open.

The crying thing IS tragic.....they have soft little voices and it seems they just cannot cry loudly. It makes it more pitiful when they are upset. If Miranda was upset you could hear her from China!
