@dlowan,
They've lost it?
Now how did they manage that?
I hope it's not under your pillow, or something like that, Deb! Shocked Razz

I do hope Sebastian's OK.
I presume Viola is her usual lovely self today?

@msolga,
Viola is veering between intense smooching and joining her partner in crime in intense play.

She was enjoying a game of fetch....but Sebastian...who appears to be too dumb to bring things back, but competes to get the thrown object, lost her favourite lolly paper.

Just prevented Sebastian from jumping into the Loo several times last night.

Viola back and smooching. I have to get up and do heaps of housework before I go out, but I am a sitting duck at present.

The ear? Could be anywhere, under anything....have toy will travel.

@dlowan,
Don't worry about the ear. The smell will guide you eventually.

As for Sebastian, he's more trouble than he's worth. Just flush him.

@Thomas,
You are a heartless cruel man.

And he's big enough to block the loo.

@dlowan,
Does anyone know how long milk teeth can co-exist with new teeth before there's trouble?

His upper canines are almost fully out....with the damned milk teeth still hanging in. I detected the first faint sign of looseness in the one I got to touch before he got upset. I'll have a peek at the lower canines when I get a chance.

I cannot make any frivolous vet visits right now, believe me!

@dlowan,
I thought those teeth just kind of took care of themselves! Never had to have vet intervention on any of my multitude of feline children....

@mags314772,
Indeed......I've not seen this before....and it seems to be just his upper canines.

I guess he won't let me tie them and a door together and slam the door, like the old days?

@dlowan,
Blast and hell!

It IS a problem. He's got the most common retained tooth problem in cats and dogs...the upper canine....and it can cause quite a bit of trouble.

The usual treatment? Removal under general anesthetic, of course!

So this Does mean a vet visit at the very least.

He's trouble, this kitten.

At least he doesnt look like some of the scary pictures on the net!

Damn, deb. It's always something. Maybe the teeth will come out on their own. Hope so.

Throwing in a sigh.

@mags314772,
"He has his father's eyes", she said darkly.

I am not sure if you're old enough to remember Rosemary's Baby.

@Roberta,
This cat is trouble.

Problem is he's so SWEET when he isn't being Beelzebub. I guess all devils are like that.

@dlowan,
That's the devil in them. That's the part I especially love about cats. Angels and devils rolled into one.

You're reminding me of one of the reasons why I no longer have a pet. Vet bills. Yikes. Hoping against hope that the tooth situation resolves itself.

Do you realize how many women in abusive relationships say that about their abusers?

@msolga,
I meant to say (above):

@msolga,
Oh boy.

Just clipped 8 sets of claws.

They were fine last time....this time had the fight of my life...and they were crying out in such pathetic LITTLE voices.

It's all forgotten instantly, however. Both being very affectionate.

Now I have to put the oil in their ears.

Sebastian bit me so hard I hoped his milk teeth would fall out.
