@Roberta,
Hi Boida.....I'm bored shitless with A2k and mega tired of threads degenerating into screed after screed of flaming by trolls and not likely to be here much at least for a while.

Facebook is no replacement for what I used to enjoy here.....but there's no trolls and so it's not as frustrating.

You have a FB account.....I pop in there from time to time. Post about woollies and all!

I have mainly been coming back because you aren't on bloody Facebook.

I'll likely just take a break and will be checking in, but unless Robert finds time to upgrade the ignore feature I just find it not worth being here much. Also, too many people I like don't come here any more....like Msolga and Soz.

Why don't you actively check FB. You are a friend of mine there.

Knowing me, I'll be back here more again in a while.

But woollies and I are fine.

@dlowan,
Actually, there's a long weekend coming up and I am having to sit on the budget until it screams for mercy, so I may be around a bit more then! I'm also pretty exhausted when I get home from work and its all dark and sleepy inducing once I get back, the travel makes for at least ten hour days these days.

@dlowan,
The drawback with cat hugging is that Sebastian, as is not uncommon in Cornish Rex, has feet that smell like cheese.

So much so that I have made up a special cheesy feet song for him...that's getting to the business end of seriously weird, isn't it? The song, not the feet.

@sozobe,
If you think the feet sound weird, you just wait for the smell!

@Thomas,
I am familiar with the smell!

What is this, an ambush? I'm giving up on A2k and some of my favourite people turn up?

@dlowan,
I read more than I post these days, but I'm still here!

Joe Nation and I talked about A2K a couple of weeks ago when I was in NYC. He was trying to explain it to my sister. He said we all know each other so well by now that it tends to get boring. Kind of like family. I think he was right. Whenever a new thread pops up, we often know what certain people are going to say before they post. And we do resemble an extended family in many other ways. When I remember what we went through when Cav and Noddy died, for example ...

Anyway, yes, family gets boring at times, but that's just its nature. I find it strangely comforting to come here and see people I know, even when they don't have much to say. It's a big world out there ... the internet. I'm glad to have found this corner of it.

@dlowan,
I go to Facebook once in a while. I'm completely lost, confused, and not keen on the place.

I can never find what I want or who I want. I don't use my real name there, so a whole bunch of people think they know me. They don't.

Olga wrote to me that she updates her status there. I still can't find anything she says.

True that things here have gone downhill. But I still have my Beautiful Animals thread. And there are people I like who post here.

For a smart person, I'm Facebook dumb.

Come back, Facebook people. I promise to try to be interesting. Well, I can always make something up.

Deb, I knew something was wrong when Debacle showed up and you didn't. He's around somewhere.

Why does life have to be so complicated? Sigh.

Sebastian's feet smell like cheese? What kinda cheese?

@dlowan,
I've posted some great kitty's on Facebook.........and seen a couple that need new homes Sad

Olga and I were discussing once to start lobbying against the elderly going into homes and not being able to take their pets when we saw a beautiful 8 year old Siamese cat that now has no home..............

Though we know we can't Wink

I have enjoyed reading all of the regulars threads, though don't answer to all... just read and then jump in, "sometimes" ... In-case I get blasted or something, well when I joined in any event, but facebook at least I can be me.............

And I am not family yet, I need another 6 years here or so right?

Traffic is carp here in Adelaide, I have to travel 1hr to properties for rent or sale and friggen takes me 1.5 and we are not in Sydney ? I'm confused dlowan.

That's a long stretch 10 hrs.

@MontereyJack,
The woollies made off with the present I was about to give a friend for her birthday about 3 months ago.

Just as mysteriously as it disappeared, it re-appeared on the weekend!!!

I think it's been where the lost socks go.......but, in a positively Lazarean miracle, it has come back from that bourne from whence nothing returneth.

If only really nice metal bird fridge magnets could talk!

@dlowan,
Who knew Cornish Rex cats were able Dharma teachers?

Their specialty?

Helping one not to become too attached to beautiful and loved objects in your home.

Dammmmmmmmmm.....I mean Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....
