Thinking about you.

@Roberta,
I have papers that arrived today. I am led to believe they are loan papers...I have not yet checked.

@dlowan,
Why don't you buy them Da Dawg? It would still be a fight to the death, but it would be a fairer fight.

@ehBeth,
I'll look in the am.

No, no long weekend.

Yep, I'll move next week.

Yikes....that means I only have six more nights here. Doesn't seem real! Woollies booked in to board during move.

Thomas....they don't make a Da Dog.

It's 1.18 am and I am up with a VERY unhappy stomach, to woolly annoyance. It's fine when they wake me at five am wanting to play, but me being ill is a cause for big disapproving sighs and a team decision to stay in bed.

@dlowan,
How dare you have the temerity to get sick and disturb their sleep? Geesh.

(Sorry about the unhappy stomach. Hope you feel better soon.)

I think I know how you're feeling, Deb. (had to book my - then 3 - critters into my vet's to make the move, too.)
And so much to do!
Thank the goddess for friends who came to the rescue at the last minute!

I'm sure you have mixed feelings about moving from your home & establishing a new one. Once everything's signed, sealed & set to go ... well, you start wondering about the wisdom of it all. And suddenly feeling so attached to the home you are about to vacate! Well, that's been my experience, anyway. If it is anything like what you are experiencing right now, let me assure you - it passes. It did for me & it will for you, I'm sure. Smile

I'm thinking we won't hear much from you in the coming week. You'll be so busy. So I'm wishing you all the very best for this move now, Deb. I wish I could be there to share the moment with a glass of chilled white with you. And I wish I could help you shift out, then in.
Good luck.
I'll be thinking of you.

@msolga,
Why, thank you.

At present I am struck down with this stomach thing.....am actually at home with it, but can't do packing. Hopefully better tomorrow. Have friends coming on Sunday.

Struggled out to have mortgage broker check papers and to sign them.

Of course, they are wrongly drawn up.

Will hopefully be able to sign correct ones on monday.

This never ends.

@dlowan,
And next....I arranged ongoing home insurance at $200,000 and, as demanded by my finance people, had the insurance company fax a certificate confirming this insurance through to the financier. Luckily, my mortgage broker also requested a copy be sent to her.

I say luckily, because the insurance people put the sum insured as being $150,000......given that the finance people have stipulated that it be insured for at least $185,000, that mistake if not detected would have stopped settlement.

I am not surprised that my stomach has given up....I just keep waiting for the next problem to drop on me!

On a lighter note I have to say that woollies are exceptionally happy and rambunctious. Nothing is safe from them.

@dlowan,
Deb, You once told me about mirror neurones. You said mine were sparkly. They're sparkling now, kid. I've got your stomach ache.

I'm also picturing all those moving cartons and those two woollies--in box heaven.

Back when I had Miranda, a neighbor was moving. She invited me and Miranda over so that Miranda could enjoy the cartons in her apartment. Heaven!

I so want things to be right for you. To be easy for you. Not just because I care about you a lot, but because I want my stomach ache to go away.

Love you, bunny.

I can not wait to hear that you have moved and that you have had a wonderful time outside your new home - enjoying the yard and just breathing.
