@Roberta,
My stuff gets moved into truck on Thursday 6th September and stays in truck overnight.

I sleep somewhere.

I pop in at current place at 8.00 am to let cleaners in.

Truck and I move me in at the beach after settlement the next day. Settlement is supposed to be midday on Friday 7th.

I think woollies will spend Thursday and Friday boarding at vet, then I will pick them up on Saturday.

Oh god there's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much to do.

@dlowan,
Of course there's a lot to do. You're moving!!

If I know you, you'll get everything done and done well. That's just the kind of bunny you are. Kvetch and complain about it all if you want to. I'll be sympathetic (more or less). You're moving to the beach!!!

I'm excited for you, kid.

@Roberta,
How little you know me! I am likely to get most done, but done sloppily. I can see the disapproving faces on the movers as we speak!

Just thinking of it is enough to make me stay in bed.

@sozobe,
Fie indeed. I just lost it yesterday.....I'd been pretty calm and philosophical until then. Sounds as though I NEEDED to lose it, which is disappointing.

@dlowan,
Not sure about this, deb. Maybe you expect too much of yourself.

If you needed to lose it, then losing it is good. Now it's lost. Nothing left to lose.

Picture yourself walking barefoot on the beach. Picture yourself taking the woollies for a walk in the sand. Picture the scent of the salt air. I'm relaxing just from writing this.

@Roberta,
Well, given that the approval for the loan is still not in writing, I have just had to lose it again. This time with the mortgage broker who just got a class 2 rocket up her bum from me saying that she should have been taking charge of this a week and a half ago and she needed to fix it or I would need to go to the industry governing body.

She has done nothing at all over this time.

I have the class one rocket in reserve.....

This is the most stressful financial situation I have ever experienced.

@dlowan,
I sympathize. I thought everything was settled. Never mind a rocket. If I was there, I'd give her a kick she wouldn't forget.

Of course it's stressful. We're talking about your home. A roof over your head. Where you live!

I'll be waiting to hear. Hang in, Deb.

This is incredible!
What a dolt that mortgage broker is!

I feel incredibly stressed just reading about this fiasco. Go knows how you're taking it!

@dlowan,
go bunny go bunny go bunny-rocket!

I think that mortgage broker owes you moving fees, if nothing else, once this is settled.
