@dlowan,
This seems good?

As in, you have sold your house and therefore bought your new house and all is on track and break out the champagne goldarnit?

@dlowan,
What is the deadline for getting the notification that he has cooled off? As in, when can you exhale? (Or start panicking about moving to the beachy house, whichever. Very Happy)

@sozobe,
Good question. I assume the agent would tell me pretty quickly.

@dlowan,
I've sort of collapsed!

Happened Saturday.....I just wanted to sleep but was too busy. I had a great time on Saturday night, but wentnstraight to sleep after guests left....just washed last dish now. Slept most of Sunday and could easily have done the same yesterday and today by the feel so far!

Agent is bringing through buyer's property manager to assess rent value. Normally I'd have the place pristine. It is very far from pristine. And **** it I say.

Had a funny conversation with cleaning company yesterday. I am going to get this place professionally cleaned after my stuff is out. Rang the first company and said I wanted a moving out clean. Guy had to determine if it was a LEGAL clean or a MORAL clean. They are very busy and prioritize LEGAL cleans. Legal cleans are for renters who have to leave place clean to get their bonds back. I have no obligation to leavemyplace clean.

'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I prioritize moral over legal.

Be interesting to see if the carpet cleaner makes the same distinction.

I had to find another company to clean my morals.

Looks that way.

There's a contract.

To buy.

@dlowan,
A contract to buy.

That seems like something to be optimistic about.

@ehBeth,
The gods could still smite Deb by striking her apartment with some well-targeted lightening. The whole place would burn down, leaving Deb with nothing to sell. And then what good would it do her if the buyers hadn't cooled off, which they probably have?

Not tempting the gods or anything, just saying.
