@msolga,
Well, about two I guess, if we don't do any more mid weeks. My contract gave me six weEks to sell. Agent said vendors may be prepared to give me longer, as the market up there has gone dead too...also I offered them a good price because I was asking them to take their property off the market.

I'm not sure...as I said up there somewhere...I'm thinking the current city market may not be going to give me what I need, sigh.

@dlowan,
Sighing along with you, Deb.
But, you never know what might happen, next week even, right?

I'm wondering: if the market in both places is flat .... might it be possible to offer a lower price for the beach property?
Assuming you receive as many $$$ as you need from the sale of your place, of course.

@msolga,
Well, if the vendors are keen not to lose this offer....they are old and unwell and won't want to have opens....I could say I could go down more if they go down.

Then it's up to them.

@dlowan,
Yeah.
It seems to me that you both might be in the same boat with such a flat market at the moment ....

It'd be good if something like that could be worked out!

@msolga,
Oh dear...very worried. Viola not well at all this morning. Didn't get out of bed, hasn't eaten, hardly responsive at all. of course, I am terrified it is her heart. She is at vet's. Hopefully I should know something in a few hours.

@dlowan,
Oh!
I do hope she's alright!
Poor little thing.
I so hope it isn't her heart.
Please let us know when the vet gets back to you.
Worrying & fretting with you, Deb.

@dlowan,
Well yeah ....
You didn't mention anything like that over the weekend.
This is very sudden.

@msolga,
Yep....come to think of it, she didn't run to have late snack last night. Normally you'd think she had never eaten when any food is offered.

@Thomas,
She has a very temperature and ger tummy apparently feels squishy. She's on a drip and has had antibiotics. They are testing her blood and her heart and blood pressure. Will do x rays if she doesn't start getting better.

They are hoping it is a bug, but seem pretty concerned it might be something nastier.

I saw her when I picked Sebastian up and she was a bit more alert....but very ill. She fought them, which is good, I guess.

Thanks Thomas....I'd be praying if I did that.

@msolga,
Just spoke with vet. Liver is ok (they were worried the hypertension she experienced might have damaged it). Some blood results are consistent with infection but they are worried because her temperature is still high despite antibiotics and fluids. Main vet is concerned that, despite ok blood pressure and heart results, that her tummy might be a result of heart failure.

She's on drip. If she hasn't improved tomorrow they will do stomach X-rays.

Sebastian is in my arms behaving like a rag doll cat.

I will visit viola tomorrow and drop off some food and her tablets. She hasn't wanted to eat which is a really bad sign for my little piggy.

This is funny. Sebastian is being a total, total sookie lala.
