@msolga,
Well, today got off with a bang.

First, I was kind of drowsing, but aware that Woollies were using my bed as part of their moving battle, which was taking place all over the house. I opened my eyes to see Viola leap upon Sebastian, who was expecting her to come from a different direction. She really startled him, and he jumped a mile in the air.....and onto my face!......which he then used to gain traction for his leap after her. How I wished I had clipped his claws.

Then I went out to prepare a restorative coffee in my stove top cappuccino maker. Sadly, I had not checked that the valve thingy was tightly fitted, and next thing I knew was that the valve thingy had flown off and a coffee geyser was hitting the ceiling.

Too much for a Sunday morning!

Shocked
I agree, Deb!
As these disasters generally come in threes, what next?!

You still managed to have that restorative cup of coffee, though?

Oh those naughty, naughty cats! Smile

How's your back this morning? Still pain-free, I hope!

@msolga,
Actually yes, my back IS pain free.

Sadly my neck is killing me. After two chiro visits it's a lot better, though. Physio had several goes, and I have been doing my necksercises, but to no avail.

I plan to take cats for walks soonish, though. That'll take my mind off it!

Yes, I did have as much coffee as I was able to rescue.

@dlowan,
Very glad about the pain-free back, Deb.
But sorry to hear about the neck pain.
Oh bugger & crap!

Enjoy your walk with V & S!
I hope it's a lovely autumn morning for you, just like it is here.

@Roberta,
Quadruple yeah with rococo decorations.

Had a great walk with Sebastian today. Meant to take Viola on her own walk, but got too tired after housework and such.

Must take her out!

c'mon, deb, we're getting worried. No word in a week? Unlike you. How're you feeling? Generally pain free, please gods, let it be. Is catlove still rampant in Oz? Updates, updates.

@MontereyJack,
Yes, hope all is well.

I saw a video of a very intense Siamese-y type cat opening the freezer in a particularly ingenious way and thought of your woollies.

I think the Siamese-y type cats are a whole other species. With a dollop of alien.

@Roberta,
Awww...you're sweet.

Pain in neck lessening....hurray! Hope it keeps that way. Pain in operation area very low.

Not, however, looking forward to Ceduna tomorrow. Climbing up aircraft steps NOT good for back...plane is too small to rate a loading bay. Also, it's a damn long day...I wake up before 5.00 am, leave home at 5.50 am and get back around 9.30 pm.

Woollies much as usual. They broke into the rubbish, which I had thought safely locked away, for some chicken bones. I should have realised they were too quiet...rubbish now safely downstairs where it belongs.

They are gradually getting used to daylight saving being gone...though they always get confused by Ceduna's early rising.

Oh no, already? You need more rest + recuperation time!

Still, sounds like things are somewhat improved. Do your bestest to be good to yourself on the trip. Imagine a little council of Roberta and all the rest of us watching your every move and imagine how we'd react. ("Do NOT lift that thing! Let the strong fella over there do it." Etc.)

@dlowan,
I certainly can see why!

I'm not sure I have the fortitude to host a real-live Siamese-y type cat (not to mention two of them) but I certainly enjoy videos and photos and written accounts.
