@roger,
It'd have to be disclosed if the decision goes that way. I don't know what the law says if it's uncertain.

But I am talking about people who bought recently, not people about to buy.

@dlowan,

I figured out why Viola fell...and I moved the thing that got in her way. She's in Sebastian's man cave as I type.

Is it just my imagination, or is Viola being a bit of a bitch to Sebastian? Towards him, she doesn't seem to act like the tender, purry-kissy cat that she acts like towards humans, does she?

@Thomas,
She's lovely to him. He is also lovelyto her....except he overwhelms her a bit....except over food. He's heavier and stronger.

He'd pretty much given up his man cave.

Don't you say mean things about my Viola!

We are all happily sharing an apple as I type.

She's coughing more, though.

: (

NOT a happy sign....she coughs becuause of her bad heart.

Still very happy though.

Cats like apples, who knew?
So much for the carnivore theory.

@dlowan,
Just catching up on this thread. I'm so sorry. I know you're pragmatic about pet ownership and all that comes with it, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt when they're ill. I hope the final assessment on Monday brings you some hope for a reasonably healthy life for Viola. It's great that she's happy and seems to have good energy. I'm keeping you both in my thoughts.

@MontereyJack,
These cats eat all manner of fruit and other uncatly things.

@JPB,
I'm pragmatic but pretty devastated. Thank you for your thoughts.

Best of luck, Deb. Through you we all love them, though we've never met them.

Mikey's favorite food was marshmellows. At least an apple has some nutritive value.

@sozobe,
She's looking for something to play with.....which shouldn't be hard because I allow her to keep most of the odd bits and pieces she loves to bring me to retrieve.

For some reason she can't start the morning without knocking my alarm clock to the floor. I managed to stop her this morning.

She knocks it down whether it is silent or alarming!

@dlowan,
stinky does that with my phone when I set it as an alarm. when I finally wake up and go find it, it's always on the floor under something where he has batted it.

if he would just turn it off, we would be good...

@dlowan,
Nermal finds the alarm thing annoying, but he takes it out on me instead of the clock. It's much easier to hit the snooze button than shut off the cat.

@roger,
She originally took to knocking things off that shelf as a way of making me pay attention to her and give her breakfast in the morning.

I have managed to stop most of that behaviour by refusing to respond in any way while it is going on, but the clock seems to now be part of her morning greeting ritual. Grrrrrr......

Miranda used to sit on my alarm clock. On the odd chance that it would go off, I'd have to get her out of the way to turn it off. Most of the time, her weight was on the snooze alarm. Lots of late days at work. I eventually got a round clock.

I love des felines.

Also, she enjoys the contest.....and I want to pack as much enjoyment into her little life as I can.
