@Intrepid,
From all the swearing and sexual topics, I think it's great.

There was an idea of setting up an adult forum to talk about things like sexual topics within the old philforum but nothing came to fruit, we here now and as you've probably noticed I really like it and I've met stacks of nice people too, it's great to be here folks.

@Caroline,
Well, swearing instead of explicating is rather lame, but, to me, swearing in itself is not bad from time to time.

@ossobuco,
I don't think there's anything wrong with it in context. Swearing can be used to express strong feelings when other words just don't cut it. When I used to hit bars the amount of men I told to **** off who thought they had a chance, I think **** off does the job best. Well I used to get pissed off with all these jerks coming up to me and saying stupid things but then I was young, I don't do it now. I think swearing has a time and a place, not in front of young children and expresses strong feelings where no other words can. Thanks.

@Caroline,
I may be wrong on this, and am interested - I think swearing has such power as it has from the forbiddance.

Me, I think it is all like breathing while you try to formulate words to explain your point of view.

I also think saying your point of view is most mature.

@ossobuco,
Yes it can be used to mean powerful messages. Yes, breath. I use swear words because I'm angry and I want that person to know I'm angry.

@ossobuco,
I also remember my cousin's son, maybe three, saying '**** you' to the guy in the bank line behind her. She could have just died on the spot, she said.

He's ok now, grown up in many ways, in his forties. Snort, always was verbally able, only more so now.

On the site dealing with pre teens, that does concern me. We usually figure that out.

@Caroline,
On profanity and vulgarity:

It is not what enters the body that is offensive, it is what comes out; Christ.

You are what you think!
To those of you who cannot control such - Such controls you; Me!

I respect those who do not swear, and I disrespect those who do.

But I'm not offended by it - Que sera...

Caroline - no-one cares how you feel - NO-ONE!

Mark...

@ossobuco,
Yeah I wish he'd leave me alone, get lost doesn't cut it so I swore at him, like I would if we were in person, he gets on my wick, I wouldn't entertain the prat in real life so I'm going to ignore him as soon as he stops picking on me like the child he is.

@Caroline,
Do you know how to use the ignore function?

I only ask because you've said quite a few times throughout this thread that you were going to ignore various people, but yet you keep responding to all of them.
