What day is today? Why is it significant? If you say you used to be a Christian, then you should know why we celebrate something today and what it is. The Word quoted in John 3:16 is the reason. How is that relevant to this discussion? You have a brain, use it. Crack open your Bible and read the book of John starting at the beginning. I bet you'll answer your own question.

What does Christmas have to do with this discussion?

"Figure it out yourself" will no longer suffice.

I am sorry, but you'll either figure it out yourself or the point will be lost to you.

I am not willing to play this childish guessing game with you, either explain whatever point you were trying to make or shut up and move on. Am I perfectly clear about this? :dunno:

The Word is self-explanatory. It is clearly written in simple language. Your writing seems to indicate you have command of the requisite level of reading comprehension. If with this command of the language, you can't understand the passage, I can't help you. I don't understand how you can't make the connection. Please explain what is puzzling you.

Your quote talks about the birth of Jesus, we are not talking about the birth of Jesus, ergo your quote is irrelevant.

If you look back at post # 1634 you'll see it was not in response to any of your posts. It was a clean addition to this thread without reference to any other post. Therefore your assertion that it is irrelevant to our discussion is irrelevant to my post.

You mean to tell me that you brought me on this ******* goose chase this whole time knowing full well that it had no relevence and you didn't say anything even when i asked you multiple times!? :angryfire:

What's so hard about saying "none" when I asked for the relevancy???? :dunno:

Why didn't you say you we going off topic untill now? Furthermore why then have you not responded to my last relevant post? Sounds like a giant red herring to avoid answering my questions.

Your peers must have fun setting you off and watching you screw yourself into the roof.

Praytell, which post was that? Please refresh my memory.

Why is this sort of behavior typical for you? And no my "peers" don't act like this, they are more civilized and respectable.

No. However, it does happen. Usually, if you don't have peers who joke and give you a hard time it means you don't have people who like you or are comfortable enough with you or their relationship with you to have a playful give and take. Hopefully, when you leave the school environment and enter the real world you'll find a group of compatriots who are comfortable enough with themselves and you and their relationships to be able to provide this kind of camaraderie. You and they need to be comfortable enough in your own skins to make this happen.

Well the fact that it's composed almost unanimously by Christians and Jews (99% is probably shooting a little low). And the fact that it often promotes the christian agenda, like faith-based intuitives or anti-abortion legislation.

As do all political parties. Personally i'd do away with all political parties, but in practice that would prove to be quite difficult.

As requested, here is my response to this post.

I asked you to prove your assertion made in a previous post. You did not prove your assertion. Your response provided an opinion and further unsupported assertions. You did not ask a question or provide something I could provide a reply to unless I chose to have another meaningless give and take of opinion.

I chose not to continue that type of pointless transaction. If you have something you wish ask or provide an assertion supported by fact from a reliable source, then we could continue the discussion or your point. Otherwise I choose to drop it and move on.

Now you're just being arrogant, disrespectful and condescending. Most peer groups have one, if your peer group doesn't have one of these types of people, then that's because it's you.

There is a difference between playful joking and being a pompous ass.

Thanks for providing the Brit perspective. Are you the tandem instructor or the passenger in the photo?

Good and evil is a matter of perception.

I interpret this response as saying that there is no good or evil. Is that a correct interpretation?
