A libertarian is more self-centered than anyone. We've had this discussion before. You didn't pay attention to your histoiry lessons or our educational system has revised the history it teaches to the point that you didn't get anything but propaganda in your lessons. Your statement above is factually wrong.

What was the line in Jesus Christ Superstar? Why did you come in an age with no mass communication?

There is no need to begin in one region or another. With the Judeo-Christian infrastructure already in place throughout the US, all it will take is for the congregation to wake up and activate their faith by action. This is the same for both Christians and Jews.

One last thing in this post. There would be no Christian civilization without the Children of Israel. The Children of Israel include Christians. The Children of Israel do not exclude anyone except those who deny Christ and/or Yahweh.

Is there a muslim region of the country I do not know about? Israel's existence is a crusade by any other name. When Britain stormed up palestine it had not had an army invade that land since the last crusades. We are all Crusaders in denial. The Muslims know what it is. Israel is under control of the Jews who are under control of the Chuches of Europe and America. The Crusaders have conquered the most holy of holies in the three great religions of the world.

Until the West starts thinking this way they can never fully understand why men like Osama Bin Laden exist.

Israel cannot trust Palestine to stop attacking it. Therefore, Israeli occupation must be oppressive, by design. As usual, there are too many fanatical Muslims in the mob for the moderates to control. All it takes is a handful of murderers to impugne an entire group.

It is not oppression. It is prevention of actions that are designed to destroy the state of Israel. If there were no action designed to destroy the state of Israel, Israel would have not need to establish curfews or checkpoints, or restict movement.

There is no such thing as Palestine. What is called Palestine now, is land lost by other Arab countries during wars they started with Israel in the 20th century. The countries that lost land in the wars with Israel in the latter half of the 20th century did not cede their land to create a state called Palestine. They had no intention of doing so. The peopel who call themselves Palestinian reject their previous nationality in Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, etc...

Now, the Islamic world is using the same issues they've had since their father slept with Haggar when he wouldn't wait for God to fulfill His promise. Instead of embracing their illigitimacy, the Islamics should embrace Christ, obey his words, and become adopted into the family of the Children of Israel like the rest of us. The Islamics probably won't do that because they hate and teach their children to hate. They teach them to hate Christians and Jews.

This is the same pattern used by all dictatorships. Blame someone else for your woes and your populace won't blame you (the government).

This might sound contradictory, but I do believe the Israeli occupation is oppressive. If one examines the extent to which Israel has carved up and cordoned off Palestine, the theme of active oppression should come to mind. But, as you pointed out, it's for purposes of protecting Israel. As long as Muslims remain uncivilized, no one can trust them.

In chaos, evil can flourish.

One purpose of the Islamists in their terror activities is to create conditions that cause popular support. In Islamic countries, they do this by pitting one faction against another the Shia aganist the Sunni. They do this by staging attacks to make it look like the opposite side has committed a heinous crime. Then they do the same and make it look as if the other side did it. They continue to do this until both sides are at each others' throats.

In free countries, the west, they are attempting the same thing. they do this by taking actions (attacks) that increase the divide between what could be considered moderate muslims and the greater society of a nation. At some point the majority of a nation must impose tight security on the segment of society that is or appears to be the source or support for these attacks.

Is this oppression? If it is, the oppression comes from those who wish to destabilize the country so they can gain power. This is borne out again and again. This is the battle that has been raging in Africa for the last 60 years. The Islamic base has grown by use of this successful strategy.

That is one reason we need a party like the one proposed in this thread. We need it to counter the erosion of Western (Judeo-Christian) values in those countries that are still relatively free of this activity. The best place to start is at home.

Robert Treat Paine
Signer of the Declaration of Independence
I desire to bless and praise the name of God most high for appointing me my birth in a land of Gospel Light where the glorious tidings of a Savior and of pardon and salvation through Him have been continually sounding in mine ears.

[W]hen I consider that this instrument contemplates my departure from this life and all earthly enjoyments and my entrance on another state of existence, I am constrained to express my adoration of the Supreme Being, the Author of my existence, in full belief of his providential goodness and his forgiving mercy revealed to the world through Jesus Christ, through whom I hope for never ending happiness in a future state, acknowledging with grateful remembrance the happiness I have enjoyed in my passage through a long life . . .

Roger Sherman
Signer of the Declaration of Independence, Signer of the Constitution
I believe that there is one only living and true God, existing in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. . . . that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are a revelation from God. . . . that God did send His own Son to become man, die in the room and stead of sinners, and thus to lay a foundation for the offer of pardon and salvation to all mankind so as all may be saved who are willing to accept the Gospel offer.
Lewis Henry Boutell, The Life of Roger Sherman (Chicago: A. C. McClurg and Company, 1896), pp. 272-273.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Richard Stockton
Signer of the Declaration of Independence
I think it proper here not only to subscribe to the entire belief of the great and leading doctrines of the Christian religion, such as the Being of God, the universal defection and depravity of human nature, the divinity of the person and the completeness of the redemption purchased by the blessed Savior, the necessity of the operations of the Divine Spirit, of Divine Faith, accompanied with an habitual virtuous life, and the universality of the divine Providence, but also . . . that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom; that the way of life held up in the Christian system is calculated for the most complete happiness that can be enjoyed in this mortal state; that all occasions of vice and immorality is injurious either immediately or consequentially, even in this life; that as Almighty God hath not been pleased in the Holy Scriptures to prescribe any precise mode in which He is to be publicly worshipped, all contention about it generally arises from want of knowledge or want of virtue.
Will of Richard Stockton
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jonathan Trumbull Sr.
Governor of Connecticut, Patriot
Principally and first of all, I bequeath my soul to God the Creator and Giver thereof, and body to the Earth . . . nothing doubting but that I shall receive the same again at the General Resurrection thro the power of Almighty God; believing and hoping for eternal life thro the merits of my dear, exalted Redeemer Jesus Christ.
Will of Jonathan Trumbull
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

John Witherspoon
Signer of the Declaration of Independence
[I entreat] you in the most earnest manner to believe in Jesus Christ, for there is no salvation in any other [Acts 4:12]. . . . f you are not reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, if you are not clothed with the spotless robe of His righteousness, you must forever perish.

The founders were not elected to represent atheists. They were elected by others who believed as they did. If the majority of the founders were God fearing, then the majority of the colonists were God fearing. These people all crafted and approved of a government that honored, or was structured to allow people to use their free will to honor God's Word.

And, as the successors of these people, we should be proud of this part of our heritage, and strive to preserve it, without apology, shame or hesitation.
