I am curious what you think the legislature is in the constitution H2O?

It is a body of representatives who are elected by the states. The states vote for those representatives in a democratic manner. It doesn't "resemble" a representative democracy. It IS one.

I am curious as to why you can't accept that our country was set up as and is a constitutional republic period.

And how well do you think Obama and his minions respect the constitution, the flag and the republic for which it stands.

The two are not mutually exclusive.

I really have to wonder how stupid you people are when you argue that the US is ONLY a constitutional republic. There is a reason why they named one house the House of Representatives.

"Hate speak" no doubt. Not racist, though. He isn't alleging you're stupid because of your ethnic origins, but simply on the basis of your expressed political philosophy.

The US is many things. Being one of those things doesn't mean it can't be another.

The US is 50 states
The US is an area of land
The US is a member of the UN
The US is a democracy as defined by Webster's dictionary and the OED.
The US is 350 million citizens
