RHP Roy Halladay said he's "not huge on a lot of the memorabilia" from his perfect game. "The memories, I think, sometimes last longer." A day after Halladay threw the 20th perfect game in major league history, Ryan Howard recalled trying to get through the mess that was the post-game celebration in the infield to make sure the game ball found Halladay's hands. "I was like, 'Roy ... hey, Roy. Roy," Howard said with a laugh. "I just wasn't going to run in and jump on the pile. That's the last thing we needed to do. We need him to pitch again, so we weren't really trying to take him out." Halladay eventually got the ball. He said Sunday his two young sons, Ryan and Braden, would likely want it kept in the family's house. His hat, jersey and the scorecard were all gathered up Saturday night, likely ready to be shipped to Cooperstown, N.Y., when the Hall of Fame comes calling. "They took all that stuff away for me," Halladay said, smiling. "I'm not huge on a lot of the memorabilia. The memories, I think sometimes, last longer."
