The football season is over and the mantra for most fans is "Wait 'til next year."
Returning to A2K again this year will be our own fantasy baseball league. We will continue to be on Yahoo and George's son Rhys has tentatively agreed to be our commissioner. They live in the Boston area and are, we hope, getting over the defeat of the Patriots.
I expect we will see the usual gang of veteran participants here; all of us a year older but presumably with most of our wits intact. We are, of course, eager to have new players. Sports is not a big thing on A2K.
If you have never played in a fantasy sports thing, it does require a bit of time. Perhaps as much as an hour or so a week.
I like the notion that I sometimes run into A2Kers who may have different opinions about things then I do. But we can set that all aside for a spell.

In 2008, I finished 1st of 12. A year earlier I was 10th of 10. Last year, I was 6th of 10. That is the way the ball bounces, I guess.
One to two hours a week, but a long season.

Is it that time of year already? I'm in.
Well, we are a bit early. The season starts around March 29th.
Rhys has set up the league with a maximum of 12 players. Thus far eight people have indicated a desire to play. We have to end up with an even number of players. Rhys set the draft for Saturday, March 3 at 11:30 pm. In the past he has been willing to move back the a week or two if we need more time to do research. And the draft time can also be adjusted.
I will email each of you the information you need to join.

Jespah: Rhys set up the league name as A2K12. The League ID# is 37252 and the password is triple.
I will ask Rhys to postpone the draft for a week or two and adjust the time for us.
Finn is a new player from Dallas. I know him from some of the political threads.

The Pups have arrived and are beginning the kibble and mango salsa regimen that never really works but it's tasty.
Okay ... last year was yet another aberration ... the management team has retooled and we are psyched up ... yadda-yadda, ... and we are ready for another fierce season ...
