McGentrix is in as "Skoalmen.'' I thought I knew what the word skoal meant. I was wrong.
We need 1 or 3 more players.

The draft for our league is almost exactly 7 days away: Saturday, March 20th at 6:30 pm ET. I trust yall have been doing research on the players, checking out their teeth and looking in their medicine cabinets. I hope some of yall can join me for the live draft. If not you can tell Yahoo what your choices are or let their big computer choose for you.
The baseball season starts Easter Sunday, April 4th.
We still have room for 2 more players in our league if anyone is interested. Let me know.
Commish, I'm willing to give up my slot if you can't find another player.

We are 3 days away from Saturday's draft. The league was set up to handle 14 players. We have 12. It is not critical that we get to 14 but we do have room for 2 more. We must end with an even number. Maporsche has indicated he is interested but that means we need 1 more player.
I do caution that the time requirement each week is minimal but it is a long season, running from April into October. If a player loses interest and wanders off, that does make the game less fun for the rest of us.

Draft day is tomorrow. As RJB has said, we need an even number of players. Right now, we have 12, but maporsche has indicated he'd like to play ... and I'd like to have him join us, but in order for that to happen we need to pick up an additional team.
But if we don't get that additional player, I need to reduce the number of teams to "12" prior to the start of the draft tomorrow. So, unless there is a 14th team by noon tomorrow, I will plan to reduce the maximum number of teams down to 12.
