Thanks, Kris. It was like a punch in the chest.
especially when you're not expecting it.
I don't miss Bernard. Did he die?
Uncharacteristically thoughtless, McT.

Why so? I didn't refer to anybody else, and no reference to any other event was intended. Anyway, sorry if anyone took an unintended meaning from what was intended as a wry joke.
I'm sorry if reviving this thread revoked (re-invoked?) raw emotions. Perhaps we shouls start a new one?
I didn't know cavfancier had died. How did it happen?
Yup, I miss him. Feel sad about some things that have happened since that should just be straight-out joyous.
I miss his irreverent voice.
((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))
six degrees, baby, six degrees
someone told me by pm. thanks.
Are you two enjoying yourselves?
Yes, I do.
Its a good question to ask yourself. Are you enjoying yourself? No? Then stop. Yourself. Dont wait for the other to. Why willingly do something that only gets you down?
Goes for both of you, of course.
{hugs} all around.
Nimh - thanks for the links. I hadn't noticed your post, when someone pm'ed me what I'd asked about.

Oh, and either of you - if you ever see me again getting dug in hopelessly in some argument that I cant possibly be enjoying (shouldnt be too long before you get a chance) - do me a favour and paste this post of mine back to me... I mean that. <nods>
At our port stop at Santos, Brazil, I waited outside the terminal to see if I could find a small group taking a van to Sao Paula, because they have the largest Japanese community outside of Japàn. I approached a gentleman with a telephone and asked if they were headed to Sao Paulo, and if so if they could accommodate another passenger. He asked if I was a Jew, and so I said ¨¨can´t you tell?¨" while pointing my hand towards my very Asian face. He said, yes, and made me an honorary Jew. Another interesting aspect of Sao Paulo is simply that Jews and Arabs live in the same district of Sao Paulo. Why cant´they do that in Israel? The tour to Sao Paulo was fantastic.
