She should get inexpensive airfares on Air Icelandic, no?

I am considered a hottie.
My beauty is sensous, somewhat dark, they say.
Often the first thing a woman thinks about me is: "Hmmm... attractive".
I have been labeled bratty, disperse, mad, brilliant, charming, innovative, rotten, presumptious, ... but never "dumb".
so where are you when l'k needed you?
Too far from Boston, I'm afraid.

Distance is noooooo object for the real thing.
Check those air fares . . . do it today ! ! !
littlek -- I hope you put your phone number in the email. It would be terrible if, seated opposite him in a restaurant or bar, you found him less hot.
The only hot men of an appropriate age that I see are wearing wedding rings. i have this fantasy that I will go to my job at WilliamsSonoma and a handsome, 60 y/o widower will come in to buy some AllClad for his son's/daughter's wedding. Pant! Pant! It's how I get myself to work.

Waldorf: Just when you think this show is terrible something wonderful happens.
Statler: What?
Waldorf: It ends.

Littlek, there's one thing that caught my eye that I haven't seen discussed. Way back when he asked your sister if you were single and 'she didn't know'. All of a sudden he's leaving the company and asks her again if you're single and she gave him your contact info.
My crystal ball tells me your sister told him she would be uncomfortable if you and he got together socially while she was trying to maintain a professional relationship with him. Now that he's leaving the company she's more than happy to see you two get together because she will no longer risk finding herself in the middle of something she'd rather not be involved in. It's possible he was waiting until Thursday to get in touch with you, perhaps even at her request.
It's good you sent the email. Now he knows you wont hang up on him when he calls.
I was a little weirded out about getting into something with someone at mys sister's work, but I am 100% certain that sis didn't say any such thing.
Ok.... so, I didn't read ALL of the Clear vs Setanta posts. But, thanks, Bossman, for taking on the task.
I received an email back from A. He says he is going away for a month and would like to see me in august, when he returns.
In the original email I had writen in the subject line that it was 'me, so-and-so's sister'. He responded with 'hey so and so's sister'. I replied to his respose with 'hi cute <biz name> guy'. Hehehe
lk, which one is he? did i meet him?
No, you didn't meet him - at least not at lunch. You may have met him through J and L.
OK, clear, he is attractive to me, he does charity work (building houses), he's a cyclist, he's a world-wide traveller, he's funny and a little bit odd. I don't know tons about him, but I do know a little more than that he is attractive.
Phew! Glad you finally heard from "Cute Guy!" It's kind of a bummer that you have to wait until August but -- he sounds like he's worth it! It'll go by fast -- and it'll give you almost enough time to decide what to wear on your first date!
Good going, littlek!! Sounds like you've got him hooked -- now all you have to do is reeeel him in!!
Stray - He's worth it in that there isn't anyone else I want to get to know better right now.
This is so romantic. You know you are going to get squeezed for every little detail when you get back from that date - or we will riot.
Totally!
Yay on the cute <biz name> guy thing, and on contacting. GW is right though, we're gonna expect full details in August. (Wait -- this isn't a tactic to throw us off and gain some privacy, is it? The gall... ;-))

and some know that he's more than a little bit odd - but odd never stood in the way of true lust
Odd isn't also a bad thing, in my view.
