do you have any idea how much money we could have saved if we'd just started the campaign here?

@fbaezer,
No, that's great. That'll capture the ethnic vote! We're a very multicutural country, you know!

And now I must go & psych up the volunteers at local campaign headquarters. They've become rather despondent, I'm afraid, with the rural slump in support.
But this'll perk em up! Very Happy

Bye for now. No time to lose!

Doesn't really have that mission accomplished flight deck stature.

What is that building and what are you up to? Just released from jail? Again?

That's my house!

The photo is from the time I was doing my military service.

@fbaezer,
I love a man in uniform.

Or, out of it. Cool

What about your position on charter schools? Is it similar to your position on chartered buses? Do you plan to throw around some SAT words in the debate, like paucity and penultimate?

@fbaezer,
You don't by any chance have a Ayers or a Wright in your youth or since, do you?

I am for charters. Charter planes, for instance.

As for the debates, I am above that perfunctory ersatz.

Something strange is going on in Wichita.

My bro is being invited to more barbecues, where they sip more beer, watch more football and, this time, do not read the Bible.

His boss is being more considerate, his female co-workers are giving him lusty glances (a male co-worker did too), and he has even been offered finance for another mortgage for his house (which he wisely refused).

His boy still gets As. But his girl, who used to get Cs, is now on the honor roll of her class.

Now this:

"This month our featured Team 4000 Member is Edgar Baez, Hawker 4000 Instructor for FlightSafety International. Edgar joins us after several years as an instructor in the Hawker 800XP. As a bilingual instructor, Edgar will be a great asset to the program."

Could it be?

He's far superior to Billy Carter, that's for sure.

Since the thread got slow, I'll practice some seppoku, or harakiri, as it's known in the West:

http://bp3.blogger.com/_mC-Vos-G7l4/R6vHPofoufI/AAAAAAAAABc/Obys0N0RHe0/s320/fotos+004.jpg

On this pic, I am the second guy to the right.
The guy on the extreme right of the picture, leaning on the fence, became this character:

He was the head of Shining Path in Lima. Sentenced to life in prison.

We were college students.
The other guys became bank officials, consuls, chain restaurant general managers, university professors... but the terrorist is the one to point at.
