@fbaezer,
Well, there's a favorite face. But never mind, what about the platform?

Aren't the heels too high?

@fbaezer,
I'm more impressed today than when your campaign started. The fact that you were playing baseball back in 1965-1966 sold me; your dad must've been very proud.

@ossobuco,
Hey, love the photgraphs, fbaezer! .... but the 2nd one (in your 2nd photo post) didn't work. (Got the little box with the red X instead.)

@msolga,
with my mac I could click and transfer it to another window..
you can probably do that with a pc by right clicking and selecting image in another window..

still hard to see but a testament to fortitude re an exercise program and probably ability to breath while talking.

Sure he was.
We won the national championship, that year. But lost against Nicaragua for the right to go to Willamsport (Little League World Series).

EhBeth, you may expect mail delivery tomorrow. Look for a postman wearing a black hoodie and silver Nikes.

The mail arrived. Based on the contents of the envelope, I am pleased to announce that I can deliver http://cache.eb.com/eb/image?id=64943&rendTypeId=4 Upper Canada, Ruperts Land and the Kings Domain at this time. Tai chi, djjd and Mame may wish to comment on the balance of Western Canada. Montana's clinging to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. I managed to pry Labrador and Nunavut free and am bringing the 12 voters along with the balance of Upper Canada.

Time to shop for inaugeration gear.

@fbaezer,
It's all about the footwear in Nunavut. I told them you had heels AND platforms. They were mightily mightily impressed. It was easy to gather the signatures after that.

@ehBeth,
I'm working on my Baez for Prez weaving. I've got all this yarn in my hall closet..

Back if I ever untangle the damn yarn ball.

Maybe I'll chop it into bits and make a rug for the oval office. The french mohair should give it some savoir faire.

I'm afraid there's been a wee drop in your ratings in some of the far-flung rural & outback areas of Oz, fbaezer. (Though you're still holding up well in the big southern cities.)

I think it had something to do with this.:

http://bp0.blogger.com/_mC-Vos-G7l4/R6zdXofouiI/AAAAAAAAAB0/_U5BQZReiBk/s200/yo1972.JPG

Do you think it was wise to post this one? Their are rumours that you might socialize the banks, & do other very radical things. These sorts of things don't go down well in the bush! Wink

So, to cut a long story short, your Oz campaign now requires more funds! (also do you have any photographs of yourself riding horses in rodeos, chopping down trees, arm wrestling, etc ... you know the sort of images I mean?)

Yours sincerely,
msolga

Hey, I fell a few times myself during my life, so that's not anything to be ashamed of. National champ is nothing to sneer at.

No rodeo horse-ridin', no woodchoppin'.
Will this help?:

Yes! That's the sort of thing, fbaezer! Excellent!

Well publish this (& any others, in a similar vein, promptly!) No time to be lost!

Eva, send more campaign funds!

@msolga,
Hey, I also have an Australian niece!
Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia.
Gonna contact her dad, who worked for 20 years setting up electricity poles in the Outback. For damage control.

@fbaezer,
do you have any idea how much money we could have saved if we'd just started the campaign here?

We could have taken Montreal the first night!

Wouldn't reccomend it, unless Eva gets the funds to buy the reporter.
The man, a Spaniard, spent half of his life in Australia, and never learned to speak proper English. But I bet he has some grassroot appeal with the rural working class down under. (Of course he can talk about Australia, great land of opportunity, etcetera... still, I don't know).
