There's absolutely nothing illegal about ANY of that stuff unless the "machine gun" is full auto and he doesn't have an FFL.

Well, the judge so acted illegally.

Quite an easy for his lawyer in that case.

This "lawfull gun owner" owned at least two weapons which were reported stolen, seemed to unemployed but is though to deal illegally - oops: of course not, cjhsa! - with weapons ......

Walter is either taking law school classes or was drunk again when he last posted.

This is how. Gun control means a nice tight grouping.

I've been to my last law school classes more than 35 years ago, and I haven't drunk any alxcohol since now more than 25 years.

I can't do anything against the fact that you can't follow the news - but I can do something against your libels and innuendos.

If you, however, wanted to complain about my English - just say it.

And 'yes', seemed to unemployed but is though to deal illegally should better read should seemed to be but is thought to deal weapons illegally

It wasn't posted when I created this thread. It doesn't matter.

What if this guy simply attended gun and survivalist shows? Made his living that way? Same thing.

I can go to estate auctions and easily walk away with a similar "cache".

How can it not matter cj? The guy was arrested for at least having stolen guns and that's kinda against the law, ya know ;-)

If you buy a gun from an estate auction or gun show it is next to impossible to tell if a gun was stolen at some point it its life, if the seller isn't willing to do the background work first.

When in the foundry biz, we used to melt truckloads of "stolen" and other guns confiscated by the police. What a waste - they should have sold them at auction instead of revenuing on the highways.

You're missing the point I'm making about the NYPD's scare tactics - "Look how effective we are - this (not very scary) stuff will scare all the pacifists to death!". The USA wasn't built on pacifism, but it runs on it daily now.
