AK 47 is good for gunfights in dirty conditions;
that s its great glory; inexpensive, too.

I love the smell of gunpowder in the morning.

I have three deer rifles.
Three shotguns.
Two .22 rifles.
Two airguns.
Two pistols
Two compound bows and four or five recurves.
Lots and lots of ammo.
BFD. It's all legal. It's in fact a small amount considering three people in my family use them to hunt and that some of this stuff belonged to my grandfather. Get real.
No revolvers ?
One revolver, a S&W "chief's special". And a correction - four shotguns.

I would like an AR-15 but they are very expensive. Many people build their own from parts to save a bit.
Unless you kick them up a notch (they are .223 by default) they are also far less powerful and any other hunting rifle I own. You can configure them in all sorts of chamberings these days.

Pink guns were the (one of the) hottest sellers in 2007.
