I may not being doing all that I should but I am doing everything that I can think of to care for the Lady Diane. She is my life. so sorry if that if not adequate.

It's more than adequate. The love that the two of you have for each other is a constant inspiration.

We're just miserable for you, and trying to help. But if we're not being helpful, please say so. The very last thing you should have to deal with is more problems from A2K in addition to everything else on your plate.

This is the last day for son Matt to be here so lady Diane wants to take a walk with him to the petroglyphs behind our house. She can't walk very much but I hope she can enjoy a brief sojourn with her son (I will take a nap)

Dys--

You're a very understanding stepfather. Enjoy your nap--you've earned a good one.

dys, I'm glad you're there taking care of your Lady.

I hope you can both get some good sleep over the next 36 - 48 hours, and hopefully enjoy some food that's good for both of you.

~~~
We love you, we worry. That's what family does.
The lovely, slightly startled woman in the painting is absolutely right! Couldn't agree more!
Dys called me last night. Diane is enjoying time with her son before he flies back home early Sunday morning. Dys, the early riser, will drive him to the airport.
Some good news about Diane's first doctor who screwed up everything he touched. Diane's new doctor reported him to the hospital management and they fired the incompetent idiot. I hope no other hospital hires him without doing a thorough background investigation.
Dys has great confidence in the new doctor, who stays in frequent contact with Dys to keep him informed. This helps them to get through the extreme stress they are experiencing.
Dys promised me he will faithfully take his blood pressure medicine despite his overwhelming concern for Diane. He knows he has to take care of himself if he wants to help her.
The devotion these two have for each other is wonderful.
actually Lady Diane and son took the tram to the top of Sandia;
http://www.1st-newmexicohomes.com/images/sandia-tramway-small.jpg and then came home and chatted til midnight then Diane took him to airport at 4 a.m. while I slept. Son had taken my truck to camp at Chaco Canyon and he was so enthraled he stayed an extra day taking over 200 photos. As he hadn't come home on the day expected Diane wanted me to call the rangers to search for him (he had a great time)
Quite probably repeating meself here but so it goes. On Friday while the doc was doing the 1st procedure, son and I were in the recovery waiting room and the doc was paging me in the general recovery room. Immediately after wheeling Lady Diane into the recovery room the doc found me and explained that the major surgeon was immediately on the phone to the main surgical unit to schedule her in, they told him (while I as there) that they could get her in on Thur and he said, that was not acceptable and demanded monday morning. She should be done and discharged by thurs barring complications. She goes in tomorrow at 7:45 a.m.
Thanks all of you for putting up with me and my garbled posts.
Would love to know the name of this bungler. It would be good for folks to be on the lookout for him in case he ends up in our neck of the woods.
When everything has calmed down and Diane and Dys are dancing with their friends and neighbors in their cul de sac, I hope we can learn if that incompetent doctor has been reported to the New Mexico Medical Quality Assurance Board for investigation and revoking of his medical license.
The idiot is a threat to patients. That way, there will be a record for other states to research his record. I bet this is not the first time this hack has been fired. I also suspect that he probably moves from state to state when his incompetence is discovered.
