In memory of my dad

Pretty cat as well. Beautiful blue eyes! My cat has some pretty blue eyes as well and it's not often you see cats with them.

Her eyes are a pretty blue. I adopted her from my neighbor. She is declawed so I can't let her outside unless I am out there with her.

My dad's headstone.....bigred if you see this, I put that wreath I showed you on there. The green & red one at the bottom.

Wish you were here dad. Happy Birthday anyway. I miss you.

I can only imagine how hard this is for you. You seem to have a heart as big as Texas and have so much compassion. I believe your dad would be very proud of you.

We're coming up on the first anniversary of the death of both our fathers, TTH.

It has only been in the last couple of months that I've been able to have the slightest thought about my dad without crying. I think I'm finally ready to open the last box of his mementos that I had packed up and shipped to myself. It's been sitting in a closet while I've been unable to deal with the contents. It's a very slow healing process, but I've gotten to know a lot about my dad that I didn't know before.

The good news is that it will soon not be an occasion for yet another painful "first" without him. I'm told it will now be considerably easier. I'm planning to spend that day going through the big box of his things, preparing them for distribution to relatives, and get it behind me.

I hope things are getting a little easier for you too. Do you have any plans you'd like to share?

I don't have any plans. My mom was given everything in the will and the only thing I wanted from my dad, she gave to my brother. So, I don't want anything.

My sister and I were laughing so hard over this stupid balloon because she couldn't tie it. I finally took over

If you were here I know you wouldn't want to see or know what is going on. You were the only one in the family I really cared about. Now that you are gone, I have little or nothing to do with any of them. Your death really opened my eyes. You actually did me a favor by dying. Thanks

The trouble was getting banned/suspended from this site. I was given another chance. That did surprise me. So, I gave my word on a few things and I intend to keep my word.
