TTH ,

He was a very handsome man. And something tells me that he was a wonderful Daddy too. He has such a softness in his eyes. I bet that man loved all of you in the deepest of ways.

You hang in there. I think when something happens to someone that we love very much, we have the ability to keep them so alive in our hearts that they will feel as though they are right there with us.

Big hugs (((((((((( TTH )))))))))

Thank you all very much.

Since I knew my oldest brother was making the funeral arrangements, I told him my dad could have military honors. He said he did not know that.
I only told him because I know my dad would have loved it and he deserved it. I was civil to my brothers and sisters even though I am not on speaking terms with them.

The Honor Guard did a wonderful job and I expressed my gratitude to each and every one of them.

My parents are buried in the VA cemetary in west los angeles. I used to work near there, had a lab. I could hear taps from inside the lab, back in those years I worked there, which were vietnam war years. (My father was older than that). Anyway, I sympathize, TTH.

Tell us more about your father if you feel like it. (I can understand not posting on that, if you don't).
