You cannot accept my apology yet I'm the one with no decency?

Whatever. The real reason you're here is now obvious.

Phoenix, I CAN empathize. I live on the Susquehanna. I travel over it almost daily. Looking at the bridge broken and crushed in that river hit home more than you all can realize. In fact, our Rt 40 and Rt 95 bridges go over the widest part of the river, where it dumps in to the Chesapeake Bay.
I will be thinking about this tragedy probably forever.

But LIFE GOES ON.

parados, you are the one that mentioned that the streets were blocked off. That seemed to be your only concern - that you had to look at blocked streets.
Your words sweetie, not mine.

My original deleted comment stands and would be repeated if not for TOS.

Your apology was hardly an apology since you told us what your feelings are "at the same time" you made that apology.

At the same time, please realize that much of the reason I'm here is because of the offensive claptrap that has been posted on both Abuzz and A2K over the years. And remember, "It's all Bush's fault".

I see no reason to think that your apology was heart felt or sincere.

Of course life goes on. One expects though, a decent period of mourning out of respect for the people who died, were injured, who were at home feeling scared shitless that their loved ones might have been one of the victims, and not knowing.

Chai, to avoid a situation like this in the future, why don't you and all the "Veteran Members" post a permanent thread listing all the A2K posters and their proclivities regarding anything with which you disagree.
That would save the rest of us a lot of posting time.

Thanks in advance.

Or....you can show enough common sense to take the time yourself to figure out what different people are like, before you blathering on about things that have been going on for years.

When you say "the rest of us"....how do you know "they" want you speaking for them?

You are like the fourth foolish virgin.

I accept you apology cjhsa. We've all said the odd dodgy thing we might regret later here and there so lets not crucify him.

Nonsense.

Parados wrote: "I get to spend my entire weekend looking at blocked off streets in that area."

He gets to spend his weekend looking at the afflicted streets.

Seems pretty clear that he's talking about the reminder of the tragedy they pose whenever he looks at them, rather than that he now needs to drive around them.

Pretty clear to anyone not carrying a grudge, I guess.

I know a guy who wears a Stetson. Inside it says "This hat belongs to Lowry Mays".

His is bigger than yours, too.

Lowry Mays, isn't the one CEO of Stagnant Water Radio, The one who was arrested for stealing a Stetson from the Lyndon Johnson Library?
