Weekend sessions were:-
Saturday-15 mins weights then4 miles in best to date 30 mins 50 secs on treadmill
Sunday-15 mins weights then 40 mins on bike-17.6 kms covered
Since the last post managed 4 miles in 29 mins 54 secs on the treadmill around a week or so ago which promptly led to my right soleus muscle getting pulled/ripped-that'll teach me. So its been weights and non impacting aerobics like the stationary bike and elliptic for me-not my favourite . The good news is I am eating less as well and the weight continues to drop off- now down to 219 lbs if you remember started at a bloated 230 lbs on April 1st so that's an average of one pound a week which is a nice steady decrease. Chest is 43 ins and waist getting close to 37 ins from a start of 40 ins, 11 weeks ago.

No need Pal, just keep motivating me and I'll soon be down to your dangerously underweight sort of size. I'm doing it sensibly, don't feel hungry, just really enjoy the food I do eat. Haven't cut alcohol out as I have to have something to look forward to. Enjoying it so far, day off today and back to weights and maybe that damn elliptic again tomorrow :wink:

I've dropped another pound as well as 2 1/2 from various circumferences of my anatomy.
Fresh fruit is coming into season. Dieting is easier with fresh fruit.
It sure is Noddy, keep it up or rather keep it off !!!
Ok Its three months since I signed up for the gym-stats below:-
Averaging 4 times a week
Average session this last fortnight has been:-
20 mins weights
40 mins on elliptic level 17 covering 5.4 miles or kilometers not sure-calories burned around 850 !! ( due to injured right soleus muscle-no treadmill)
Bench press reps at start April= 15 x 2 at 35 kilos
Bench press reps now = 15 x 2 at 60 kilos
Weight at April 1st-230 lbs Weight Now 215 lbs
Waist at start 40 ins- Waist now 36 ins
When my legs are not injured I have progressed from 6mph on treadmill to 8 mph for 4 miles -best to date is 29 mins 54 secs
Best 5000m row on Concept 2 is 19 mins 39 secs
Fan bloody tastic !!! I had a session booked with my trainer tonite - but just found out that I have to go for work drinks today evening.
Real life (work + illness) is intervening far too much !!
I haven't missed a workout in a while...and just smashed a personal best last week...still making progress.
Come on Slappy cough up-give us the details- share them with the guys.

Not much for details...just getting stronger....getting fired up for going for a new record tonight. Hope those 594 beers I drank this weekend doesn't kill me.
