@thanes1,
Hey.
Thanks for reading this old stuff, but the original heartbreak is long over, there's been another since and now I'm courting a better woman than either of them put together, which is I told you what they looked like, would be a very strange pair indeed.

All's well with me and I hope for you also.

Aperture, welcome to a2k.

Look up two posts above yours and you'll see that Joe Nation is fine now..

This is an old thread but one of my favorites - Joe N is such a good writer.

@Bigshot ,
It's a looooooooog thread. Years go by, tough stuff.
He met another woman. Happy and then they weren't.
I tend to be on his side, but then, I would, since I like him/friend.
More time goes by, and he meets someone else, who is a fit.

@Joe Nation,
Joe,

First I would like to thank you for sharing. I know it can be difficult to do. Second I would like to commend you on being a real person and letting your emotion out. With all of the societal norms that are being placed on our generation I am glad, you did not let that limit you. You cried in a public place for many to see, that takes guts and it shows emotional growth. Third I wish I could say that everything will be okay, eventually it will but right now in the moment at this time its hard. Judging from the words you have written here, you seem to be a pure, genuine, loving and best of all resilient.

Stay strong!

@CalamityJane,
Lost love and ended relationships are universal and timeless, as Taylor Swift figured out to great profit long ago.

@Eliusa,
Read the whole thread, it works as a book but is written in real time.

It's a big bogged with a lot of us a2k people commenting at first but even that is interesting. Keep reading.

One...he IS so over it.

Two...yeah, he knows how funny his writing is. He is a genius at this kind of thing...and could have made a fortune as a comic writer.

But he preferred to chase curvy girls...and has grown eminently successful at that also.

Yo...Joe. I gotta get into town and down some suds with you soon. Then I can tell you what a great writer you are...and you can agree with me with gusto.
