A lot of us here have admired Joe Nation, including myself. I've not seen him post here in a dog's age, alas, but he's still around, posting elsewhere, years after that particular post, about a good cry on the train. He's quite a good writer. It's worth it, reading the whole many paged post. I read it every few years or so, just to see his writing again. Er, Joe Nation is his "username".
