It's hard to your moral outrage seriously when you include statements such as

Quote:
It's a slur towards gays that young men - much like Coulter used to be

Coulter deserves it. Sad that individuals such as yourself continue to defend this worthless individual.

Tell that to her Adam's apple and large hands.

Plus, you love Coulter, so you wouldn't take my 'moral outrage' seriously no matter what.

Where did Maher say he wanted Cheney dead?

Spin away... Laughing

Back at you. Where did Coulter call Edwardsa a faggott.

""I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate, John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word 'faggot,'" Coulter said.

On Real Time Maher made a comment during a discussion with panel members on his show about Arianna Huffington deleting Cheney death wish comments from Huffington Post.

In a nutshell, Maher basically insinuated that he agreed with the commenters on the the HP blog that were dissapointed that VP Dick Cheney had not been killed over the weekend in a botched assassination attempt. Now Maher didn't actually say that he wanted Cheney dead, but he might as well have said it. Maher thinks it is a free speech right to say such an evil thing.

Is English that challenging for you? Where did Bill Maher wish that Cheney was dead?

Your talking points are, well, pointless. And it's really no surprise...

Apparently, you are as clueless as the hyped up liberal knuckleheads who think Coulter called Edwards a Faggott. She did not.

Mahr OBVIOUSLY did not say I wished Cheney was killed.

My original question to you and your ilk was WHY was Coulture plastered all over the "media" and not Mahr.

Both are irrelavant, so why the hypocracy?

There isn't any. Bill Maher was making a point and Ann Coulter was just being an obnoxious c*nt. Seems pretty simple to me and those of us without a conservative axe to grind.

Because only to the English challenged did Ann Coulter NOT call John Edwards a faggot at the CPAC Convention. And apparently, it's only the clueless who seem to think that prominent Republicans weren't clapping in approval after Ann's comments.

If both are irrelevant, than why did you bring Bill Maher up anyway? Laughing

Looks like the hyped up, conservative knuckleheads are doing everything in their power to mitigate the damage Ann has already caused.

And besides, most of America hates Cheney, and most Americans can't wait for this administration to end.

Meanwhile, Maher has a hit show on HBO.

Can't wait to hear what the next Rightwing talking point will be.

I have to ask this...

If you on the left hate Ann Coulter so much, why do you pay any attention to her?

Why do you let what she says bother you so much?

It seems to me that she is very good at driving all of you insane with her silly rants.
(Of course, for some of you that isnt a very long drive).

If you dont like her, just ignore her.
Thats what I do.

Just an observation and then I'll leave y'all alone to bicker about Ms. Coulter. The hypocrisy of some (I said some) of our democratic friends here has left me chuckling. Seems they are ready to crucify Coulter for her comments which in my humble opinion were silly, yet see nothing wrong with making comments calling her a c**t.

I return you now to your continued rant about Ms. Coulter's remarks and her genetic makeup, which for some reason facinates some of you here.

We pay attention to her because the conservative right applaud her when she says this stupid sh!t. We pay attention to her because she sells lots of books spreading absolute lies and vitriol against anything left. We pay attention because at some point, conservative Republicans are going to be FORCED to draw the line, and we on the left will be there to call them on their endless hypocrisy as that line endlessly shifts so they can pander to like-minded Republicans who nod their head in approval to everything Ann Coulter, and others like her, say.

If we don't, then those young, impressionable minds at the CPAC Convention will be allowed to have Ann's hate filled sh!t propogate. As it stands, when the criminally indicted Tom DeLay showed up at the convention, young impressionable Republicans swarmed to him.

Really, is this what the Republican party is becoming? Because I just don't hear the condemnation from the right that I would expect from any normal and moral individual. And many others at CPAC have said absolutely NOTHING in regards to Ann's comments except for the few who are running for President. That would include Bush and Cheney as well. I will assume many Republicans really don't have a problem calling homosexuals faggots. Their hostility towards the homosexual community is readily apparent.

This is why we have to pay attention to the likes of Ann Coulter. If we don't point out her bullsh!t, she will continue to be allowed to represent the rabid rightwingers in this country.

Hey, I said that, and I'm no democrat! Don't disparage these good people by trying to hang them by association to a rotten prick like me!

Good point, CR.

MM, my question to you is related to yours. Why do so many people on the right pay attention to what she says?

Like nimh, I am heartened that many conservative commentators have distanced themselves from her and her comments. I can't understand why it's so hard for her fans here to do the same.

I guess I just don't understand then Dook. Isn't it the democratic party that touts there inclusiveness? Aren't they the ones who claim they don't care about color, gender, sexual preference, etc? If so, why are they the ones making fun of the fact that Ms. Coulter looks like she could have been a male at one time? Seems a lot of transgendered people ought to be upset that you a demeaning them by ridiculing Coulter's look.

Maybe I haven't quite expressed my thought on this in an understandable fashion, but hopefully you will get my drift.

And for the record, I've never been a Coulter fan. She was out of line using that word.

Your gross generalizations accusing all Dems of calling Ms. Coulter a c**t are duly noted. Rolling Eyes

So when Republicans call Cindy Sheehan a c**t (which I've heard numerous times on another forum, and countless times on Freerepublic), you would see nothing wrong with that? Or would you condemn your Republican friends as well?

Thats what I do.

Thats a joke, considering whom its coming from.

You are the poster who has started individual threads to demand the A2K liberals to collectively apologise for:

  • an obscure website called AmericasDumbestSoldiers.com, titling your thread Can you liberals defend this???????!!!!!!!!!!!.

"Are you liberals/leftists so full of hate that you can actually post this garbage," you asked us; "do you liberals hate so much that you have to post this garbage? Are you that full of hate?" - even though no liberal here had anything to do with the site or had ever quoted from, recommended, or even known about it.

  • a Warren County Community College adjunct English professor who wrote a stupid, offensive anti-war email to a student of his, headlining your thread Will the anti-war crowd denounce this idiot?.

"Does he love America and do you support his right to say this crap?", you rhetorically asked us anti-war people, "Will anyone on the anti-war side of the country denounce this jerk?".

Note: not a single liberal that you were addressing had ever quoted or praised this man, the man did not fulfill any political function of significance, and had never published on any nationally known scale. He was a complete nobody and none of us seemed to have even ever heard of the guy, let alone shown any sign that they would have supported him, and yet you wanted all of us to proclaim our condemnation of him.

  • another website, this one called forsakethetroops.info, this time titling your thread Leftist hatred,a perfect example.

"Please tell me that those of you on the left here dont support this site!!!," you yelled at us, although again, noone here had in fact shown any sign of supporting it, noone had ever quoted from it, or, for that matter, even heard of it.

So you are pretty much the master of demanding "the other side" to collectively apologise for something some local obscure nobody said wrong, just because we're also "liberal" or "anti-crowd".

But now that Ann Coulter - someone whom many of you conservatives have praised, and whom many of you have quoted, and who is known nationwide, and who is invited and feted by prominent conservative organisations and audiences like the one at this very event, said something outrageous, suddenly it is all silly of us to ask or expect any of you to speak up about it?

And that's not all. Notice also that when you did rhetorically ask all of us liberals to denounce and condemn those bozos who made AmericasDumbestSoldiers.com and that weird County Community College adjunct English professor, many took offence at the question, but there was also a bunch who did freely chime in that indeed, they did think the site and the man were stupid and offensive.

Now it's Ann Coulter who's been stupid and offensive, and are the A2K conservatives in their turn chiming in that sure, what she said was stupid and offensive?

Umm.. <crickets>
