Who is gone? I am proud to say that I have not watched, ever, a single second of American Idol.
Am I on an island?
Gus, Cj, we have to stop meeting like this.
Greeny
Okay, I'm going to work out now, and you two talk amongst yourself.
Sanjaya. He's outta there, finally. He's a really crappy singer who has been surprisingly resilient and has been hanging on every week of the show. Finally, he got tossed tonight.
I guess it's not that big a deal in the big scheme of things, is it.
What did he do? Juggler? Magician?
Sorry, Kicky, I didn't see that singer part. Thanks.

Neither did most of America and the judges.
You're welcome, Gus. Enjoy your threesome with Green Witch and Calamity Jane.
I never get that far with those two. They inevitably begin eyeing each other and then the groping begins and I am forced to watch while they carry out their lustful advances. It gets frustrating at times.

You're just afraid to let go of your walker.
Melinda Doolittle.... end of story.

Wasn't sure it was going to happen. Thought maybe Lakisha.

I don't know where you're getting that from. I don't see that at all.
I thought Jordin showed very well. I do see Melinda and Jordin now as the top two.
Well, Tuesday's and Wednesday's shows were interesting.
On the Tue show, I thought Jordin shone the brightest, eclipsing Melinda's performance. High praise from Randy on that one, saying it was the best spot in the 6 year history of the show.
On the other hand, in my opinion, Lakisha picked a song which would not have been widely popular with the audience. I thought for sure she might have been kicked off on Wed's show, but of course they are delaying that for next week now.
I thought it was poor judgement on AI's part to say that it was going to be "a shocker" as to who was going to be let go yesterday. I thought Jordin looked really upset and speechless for a moment. A bit cruel and unnecessary.
Lakisha needs to have a really good performance next week to stay in, I think. Either that, or Blake or Chris may have a poor one for the results to change.
Top two contenders are now definitely Melinda and Jordin. It would be hard at this point to pick which one could win. In my opinion, Jordin probably fits the "Idol Profile" more closely.
If Jordin had been the one to go last night, it would have been a tragedy. She is certainly one of the best of this year's contenders.
I enjoyed the "Idol Gives Back" show last night though some parts were pretty lame. I wish the Idol contestants would do more ensemble numbers.
The straw poll as of this hour has from first to last: Phil, Jordin, Melinda, Blake, Lakisha, Chris. This is the first time Phil has been in the top half, much less first. So what do you think? It will be Lakisha and Chris who go next week?
