(Spying the pair in Lola's black evening gown, and wondering how the two of them plan to go riding like that?...)

Ooh, I wish I had spotted that dress first! Afraid I'll just have to make do with this extra riding habit of yours, Lola dear. All ready to go for that ride?

Pssst...Lola, you're right! That Trevor is simply darling! But you did see him first...

Yes, Visitor..........Trevor is all mine. It's established and guaranteed. But you can admire him, if you like. And look at all these other fine gentlemen we have here to get aquainted with. Why here's Timber right now.

Hi Timber. Would you like to join us for dinner?

Lola, dressed in her long black gown with silver beads, the backless one with a train, decends the stairs and suggests that dinner proceed...........

(Sigh.) It appears to be too late for that ride. And here I am, in a riding habit for dinner. I will be so glad when my own clothes arrive.

Lola's Salon
Stradee and Hoft return from riding side saddle and giggling about how their riding cloths were suddenly transformed to evening wear plus receiving rave reviews from joggers in the park. Horses at parade ready and looking rather spiffy with feathers flowing from golden manes, they dance beautifully
using Tennesee Walking Gait and bowing thier heads regally.

Walking barefoot from the stables Laughing Stradee and Hoft meet Lola and Trevor as they descend the stairs holding hands, Lola happy Trevor has finally decided to stay at the Salon indefinitely.

"Lets go for a swim" says Stradee. Poor Blathams been in the pool for hours and probably needs saving and I don't believe he's met Visitor yet <who's waiting patiently in the foyer for her cloths>.

"Here ya go Visitor" says Stradee. " Lola's lending you one of her bathing suits for the evening. You'll love the pool area that Hiama named after Hoft landed her Goblin upsided down in the pool, reconstruting the spa for indoor/outdoor swimming, < very lovely, weather permitting >

Stradee forgets the name of the spa <surprise Confused > and asks Hiama if he'll be so kind as to remind her what the name of Lola's pool is.

P.S. Has anyone noticed that Blatham and Trevor are never in the same place at the same time? Interesting.

Just got back from my local University's production of Cabaret. It was wonderful. Wish everyone could have been there with me, sure thought about everything. The ex Governor, ex US Senator and current University President was sitting a few seats down from me with his Misses and my love in tow with me.

BillW - might the person referred to be Mr. Boren, formerly known as the biggest windbag in Oklahoma?! Btw - don't mean to insert politics into Lola's Salon, it's just that (then) Senator Boren drove me to distraction with longwinded speeches on energy legislation.

Great to see Timber here, too, though suspect it's not the dress which attracted him but rather the repeated mention of the word "Sardine". For those ill-informed souls who've missed data such as "C-801 = Sardine", C-802 = Silkworm" and other such - count your blessings <G>

Hoft,

I am counting my blessings , I got stuck at googol.

BillW,

Glad you had a nice time, sounds great, we were there in spirit, life is a cabaret old chum.

Hiama admires the flags and bunting bedecking " Lola's Lilo ", a
modern span and aqua facility for the mentally drained of the world. He asks Hoft if she can help him get Blatham out of the pool as his epidermis is in danger of peeling off soon as he has been in the pool so long.

Hiama admires the ladies evening attire draped by ht epool as they all go skinny dipping and reminds Diane that she has some chocolate on her upper lip from the chocolate digestives. Ever the gentleman he offers to lick it off for her then he remembers that this is not the behavio(u)r of gentlemen in polite society. I am not sure why or how he remembers that, he just does.

Oh, my! David Boren and George Bush here in Lola's Salon? And I thought I would be safe from idiots here.

(Lola enters to refill her glass with champagne and sees the unwanted intruders. "Withers! Please see these gentlemen to the door immediately! They were NOT invited!" she says with an air of indignation.)

Visitor ---------- I think there are more profound reasons for writers block than the 2 you suggest.

#1 their ballpoint pen leaked all over their shirt pocket

#2 their pooter keyboard does not have letters in alphabetic order

#3 their bi-focals prescription has been made up all wrong

I caught that wonderful Dubya-ism. I recall one from Hizzonner da Mayor, the inestimable Elder Dick Daly, Chicago's most quotable politician: "The police are not here to create disorder, they're here to preserve disorder".

Timber, that duck will not fit in the pool! You really must take it back where you got it.

Oldandnew, I didn't hear George say that today, but it sounds just like him. I did hear him say, after 9/11 that the terrorists had "misunderestimated" us. He repeated it three times. It was hilarious.

HofT, Visitor, Diane and Stradee, and all the ladies now swimming in the pool, encourage Blatham to come out and join them at the table, poolside. They love his company. He's sooooo sexy and fun to play with. They all look so beautiful in their bathing suits. The sight is enough to seduce any attentive gentleman.

HIAMA, BillW, oldandnew, and Timber are just joining the others. Look how handsome they look in their swimming suits. Speedos, every one............ very nice.
