Is that a note of biting sarcasm, Blatham? Making fun of my man? It's very funny. Very clever. But he can't play guitar because he has C. P.. Or at least I read that he had it in a magazine one time long ago.

Joe Cocker at Woodstock. Yes didn't he look young? It's the first time I say him, on the movie of course. But I loved him right away. chrisma, I think it's called.

Dys, I'm absolutely impressed. I have a video tape of him on the Ed Sullivan Show, he's dressed mod and his girls were mod too. It's wonderful. His talent was evident in spite of the clothing.

Lola, Joe was the best air guitarist that ever strummed. He is amazing, its about time for another album. He gets one out about every 10 years along with Pink Floyd.

He gets a new album out about every year or two, I think. I have most of them. He's still going strong, especially after his return from the pit of drug abuse and alcoholism in the 80s. I saw him in person a few months ago. The crowd was really.....um interesting. Not a person under 45, mostly 50+ in the group. It was fun watching them. Some were dressed very conservatively and others seemed to have failed to give up their hippiedom. It was fun. But one thing really bothered me. No one, or almost no one stood up to dance and clap as he bellowed forth. Very disappointing. It was a little embarrassing to be dancing alone.

I shall retire to the salon where Withers will be good enough to bring to me a cognac. Then a bit of Mahler, Grieg and Mozart intermingled with select Mannheim Steamroller extraordinaire.

Ahhhhh - Time to relax.

Have a cognac, dys. Sit here and relax, Sylvia will make those tired, aching muscles feel a hell of a lot better in no time. She's really good.

Well, I'll join you for a cognac!

Time to unwind.

(Never knew that about Joe Cocker. I admire him all the more knowing he has overcome C.P. to be so gosh darn cool.)

Withers, I'll have coffee with a little cognac and cognac for my friends as well. The air is fresh in here. Dys is right about that. MaryCat, I hear you made it to Texas. Congratulations.

The Austin area is really nice. As is the Fredericksburg area and all the great vinyards there.

So much to explore! Exciting. We'll be better able to explore in a few months, when we have an apartment, a car, and have made a little dent in our colletive debt...

Withers, make a nice big fire.

Ok everyone throw all your debts in the fire, watch that really big one in the corner its mine, put some extra flame accelerator on that- good make sure that all the debts are burnt to a cinder.

Now we can relax, lets open a couple of magnums ( magna ?) of Champagne to celebrate, then we can go for a nice hot tub together Laughing
