Lola, in Macsmii post Feb 08,2003 on Balderdash it is stated "Lola is the creator" When did you take on the responsibility and accountability of GOD, ?

It seemed that I have screwed up. MY post Feb 2003 2:36 pm: did not put down yout name and I did not hit the link buttons which was in answer to your question posted on Feb ? 9:55pm.

ft, Are you trying to make this forum into a 'serious' one? Your statement, "Lola, in Macsmii post Feb 08,2003 on Balderdash it is stated "Lola is the creator" When did you take on the responsibility and accountability of GOD,?" As for me, I've put Lola on a pedestal, and I'm about ready to worship 'me lady.' Wink c.i.

coolio! Men awash around the Salon, ready to cast their frockcoats off for the mademoiselles and hot mommas, hotchacha! I LIKE this thread!

Now, c.i., I think you and firstthought are both just a tad jealous of the dazzling, brilliant and assertive femmes de la thread, oui? Steve, where do you weigh in, ha ha? And Hiama, you Humble Servant you!

Here's a toast to the convivial guests and regulars of the Salon! (PS. I do believe I'd like to ask Withers for one of those Sunday mimosas....)

You guys are too sweet about humble little me. I love you all. Don't we Cobalt? But I'm still working. Jeffers is here, I see with the Sunday Mimosas for Cobalt and all.

With this, Lola returns to her study, a little worried about what happens to people who fall off their pedestals.

Steve, unfortunately, 'humble' isn't a word often found in the American vocabulary, especially if your intials are GWB.

HIAMA!!!! It is so good to see you again! We have missed you in balderdash. Welcome back.

Lola's work/fun sounds fascinating. I hope she will share some of it when she has time.

Cobalt, I see you've escaped from your Mormon surroundings again. Good for you! Enjoy some of this wonderful coffee and maybe put in a shot of something deliciously alcoholic to add to the sense of feedom!

HIAMA,

Yes, I agree with Diane. How very nice to see you here. I was just thinking about you yesterday, as a matter of fact.

Here, let me give you a little kiss on the cheek and offer you a bit more coffee or cognac, before returning to my work.

Cobalt and Diane, here's to freedom!

Hiama is blushing as the ladies smother him in kisses.

Well ladies I hope that the other gentlemen have been looking after you whilst I have been away in my virtual desert searching for my friends. I had a damascian experience, of which more later, for now let me have some of that fine coffee I smell please Withers and for dessert may I have creme brulee and with it may I have dear Withers a spoon ?

Note to Withers, I have brought my own English butler Jeeves with me, however he is happy to sit in the corner on his own, he will not interfere.

jes asks the servants to grab their instruments (you did know they're also a band, don't you?) and play "Besame mucho". Withers is on trumpet, Jeeves can sing and play guitar, and Jeffers is at the keyboards. Fifi drops what she's doing to play drums. On the front of the bass drum is the band's name: In Service of Music.

Lola
c.i and lola I must apologize, I screwded up again, my previous post was supposed to be a private message to lola. I hit the wrong link button, but one lives and learns. c.i. how gallant of you rushing to a fair maid's rescue.

Lola I'll get the hang of this enviroment one way or another. I shall repeat my question once again "what happened to FRED"

I think I could do with a drink I wonder if Fifi ( I cannot remember all the male names, and who does what) could oblige me with a southern comfort old fashioned. si vous plait and Buster would like a coke and I am sure he will thank you in his own particular way (c.i he prefers cream chedder cheese to peanut butter)

I apologise to all the other members on the thread for my clumsiness. Smile

oh, soooooo, I've finally found this salon. I've been hanging around the cafe, and Wassau and Blossom moved to Florida, and Sal and Prissy moved out West, we keep in touch, but hey, it's been lonely at the cafe. The mice, Maxine and Malcolm are still hangin around, but they have had to go "out" for their meals lately. Maybe I should let them know where to find you guys. Lola's changed faces, and there are all these hoidy toidy wait staff around here.

Oh, yes, Withers, Cheshire here. Yes you may take my hat and boots, and oh, yeeeeeeeesss, I believe I will have a cigar...........now, do ya have any giblets and gravy back there in the kitchen?

hiama, I don't 'encourage' people to smoke, but if I know they smoke anyway, might as well give them the best. Wink c.i.
