There, between where the keyboard meets the server is a magic place. A place of unthought of things that are common, of the way for us to wish and be.

Cobalt, you can do it. You can visit us and everyone else at the same moment. Let us show you how easy it is.

Come to our Seattle or Vancouver party. Oh, where ever the heck it is. I didn't file a flight plan so I don't actually know were I am!

OK Mikey, don't play so sweet and innocent, we know you are stowed away with all the goodies that Stradee has packed away!

Cobalt, what Danon said. Just use the keyboard, we'll be waiting for you with open arms.

10-4

Lola very tired from busy work week <Stradee gives Lola a plate of brownies as Lola clicks home to Salon for nap>

Mikey/ it's ok to use clickers for transport/ WCN's new thought-to-destination technology/ best saving brownies till you've decided on coordinates and after transporting though.

danon who has gotten himself lost because he had no flight plan gave a call to ATC: "Seattle approach, danon5, blackbird 01, over Montana VFR FL120 squawking 0007 requesting expedited TAC 0.0 approach at mach 3.2 descent through class A B C D E & G airspace to unknown destination vicinity SeaTac/Vancouver area, estimated ETA 3 mins, over"

Waiting for an answer danon did a couple of aerobatics.

Using her clicker, PaL and Jack (super Border Collie), create a glider. Knowing absolutely nothing about coordinates or airspeeds or landing patterns, she figures that a glider would be the best for herself and Jack. Gliders don't have engines, right?

PaL puts a scarf around Jack's neck, so that he looks like Snoopy in the cartoons. The scarf flaps in the wind, straight back from Jack's neck.

PaL paid an engineer to program their glider with a homing device, and set it for Victoria, Vancouver Island, Canada. Trusting that the engineer knew the correct coordinates, PaL enjoys gliding quietly above the earth.

She's looking forward to seeing her friends in Victoria.

Very Happy

Victoria International Airport @ Sidney BC / Landing 1 9er right /

Stradee radios ground control/ "This is Hornet requesting permission taxi from runway 1 9er"/ "Ground control to Hornet /request granted taxi N
holding area/ meet atv ground transport/

Where is everyone? Stradee asks/ There's ebeth wearing rather stylish purple hat/ sipping tea/ says "Hi Stradee, just in time for tea, brownies and sauteed shrooms".

Blackbird radios to say he's spotted P&L with Border Collie Jack flying glider toward Victoria Station/ Mikey and Diane preprogram WCN's for transport.

Has anyone heard from Timber and Hoft?

Victoria International Airport >>
(when page opens, click on first link:
http://www.sidneybc.com/maps/index.htm )

>> has by now managed to find suitable hangar space for Hornet, Blackbird, Goblin, glider (flown by Jack the Border Collie in Red Baron goggles and scarf), and a clicker-transport bearing a cheerful party of ladies with feathered hats. Still expected, Timber, who's trading in the new Harrier ($30million) Stradee gave him for a reliable Warthog ($10million) and investing the change. The 2 supersonic members of Lola's Salon group (Stradee and Danon) have discovered a common passion for horses and departed on a related errand. Mikey, suitably equipped with spare clicker, gallantly detours on his way to Victoria from Massachusetts to pick up lady stranded in Arizona.

The local guide, Blatham, is mysteriously absent from the gathering so far; rumors of sighting at a nearby nudist beach remain unconfirmed <G>

... and from Lola's townhouse in Manhattan, Withers, the butler, sends word that an unknown gentleman has settled in the library and is quietly reading an old edition of "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" - a reminder of the foreword by the author:

Cobalt thanks all for the good wishes, and "Thanks for all the fish!"

<Or, was that "brownies"?>

Anyhoo, when Cobalt started trying to figure out which way NW is (shes ALL cornfuzed here in the East Valley area), she felt hopeless about finding her own way out of her new neighborhood, but now is looking with great anticipation towards meeting Salon Adventurers Expediting Force members and some strange birds called Crones, soon! There's an International Gem and Mineral show coming in February in southern AZ, and other obscure events, something here called the "Phoenix Open". Oh yes, she may be able to secure hotel accomodations in the future at a most advantageous rate, lol! (Starting work Monday!)

Well, cobalt is now going to try to brush up on some golf knowledge - she's heard that her son (assisting as Sous Chef for the expected 13,000 daily in the corporate tents) is wangling passes for the ladies in his life! In the meantime, as a culinary army prepares for the onslaught of folks coming to the WORLD'S highest-attended sporting event, some lil old grandma's are taste-testing things like barbeque ribs with blueberry bbq sause, avocado/salsa salad mixed with catfish, pecan pie drenched in bourbon, blackened chicken and more to come - boy, they sure eat 'diffrent' around these parts!

Stradee: Cobalt must apologize for complaining the radiation suit ill-fitting: it now seems to be a most accurate size, alas!

Lola, eating breakfast and rushing out the door to the Waldorf meeting, looks forward to the evening in beautiful B.C. For now, work. Lola hopes to find HofT in New York on Monday perhaps. She'll call.
