the fun is in the details, too numerous to mention. It's enough to say that all is very well.

Hi there ~ Has anyone seen Stradee? She mentioned a meeting with a lady named Jes ~ something about computer stuff. Strad said she'd meet me here at Lola's afterwards.

"Hi ~ you must be Lola ~ glad finally meeting you. Wow, cool digs! Monet featured in the foyer! Girl, can not wait to see the rest of the house! Embarrassed Please excuse my rudeness. My names Santuzza. May I wait here for my friend?"

(limping in, doubled over...)

Oh yes, Bill, do take her on a full tour...show her the pool, the stables, the whole thing...

Welcome, Santuzza! I would join you two, but I've injured my back and really must lie down here on the recamier until the meds kick in. Champagne, you say? Well, I really shouldn't, with these prescriptions, but what the hell.....

Hi Santuzza,
You sure look familiar. Hmmm, welcome to the club.

I'd go with you two but un - or, fortunately my little finger is wrapped around this glass of cognac, so I'll stay and keep Eva company.

Hi Eva ~ toured the stables and gave Sweet Dancer a nuzzle, thanks.

Ouch hon, here sit a moment till Fifi finishes preparing the spa. Nothing like cool water for easing back pain. Bottled bubbly and a few Vicidens and you'll be flying ~ sans the pool Smile

Well, why not. How often do we get a chance to just sit (or in your present condition, recline). Oh look, it's Withers bringing two dinner plates and more bubbly! Looks as if we won't have to navigate the dining room after all and besides my knees lost any feeling about an hour ago.

Eva and Santuch feeling no pain whatsoever, wait patiently for Withers who somehow forgot to place food on their plates.

Hi Danon ~ didn't I see you at the Reno Air races? I'm sure it was you flying a vintage Mustang killer was it? I've no clue what that is, but I heard a lady called Helen radio coordinates to ya all.

Do I look familiar? Could be ~ I raid Stradee's wardrobe closet on a regular basis ~ don't tell her though.

Care to join Eva and I for dinner? Has anyone seen Withers?

I'd be happy to join you ladies. Anyone else care for abend essen??
Withers is around - you know. He's been brooding lately, I wonder what could be his problem?

And, oh yes, the old WWII birds are grand to fly. The Mustang will do a 360 degree roll in less than 3 seconds! My absolute favorite old crate to fly is the 1912 Deperdussin - the first airplane in the world to fly faster than 100 mph. But, enough of this boring talk.

Yes, enough talk...let's eat!

Withers has been very busy gathering all the scrumptious edibles for tonight's repast. Oh look, we have...grilled baby Tuscan artichokes, fresh mozzarella, hmmm...several pastas in various sauces...yes...a nice veal marsala, and, oh, oh, oh, look at the desserts!!!

Come and join me, everyone!

Danon, what is that dish over there? I don't recognize it.

Thanks Danon ~ not boring at all. I find airplanes facinating both as a spectator and pilot (well if you count the right seat piloting).

Oh good, there's Withers with my absolute favorite meal. Pesto 'n Pasta,
garlic bread, salad topped with olive oil and wine vinegar. mmm

Eva's recovered nicely from her back pain as she Danon and Santuzza sit enjoying a marvelous dinner.

After dessert, Santuzza thanks Lola and her guests for their hospitality. Vacation plans await with much preparation before departure.

Eva, you will love that one. It's called Tiramisu and is delicious.

Withers went out of his way, above the call of duty for this sumptuous meal. The breads and meats from the macellaio and norceria. The veggies all fresh from fruttivendolo. And, the cakes!! Straight from the pasticceria. Mmmm. Thank you Withers.

Suddenly there is a knock at the door. The kind of knock where the knocker knows that they are important and that their knocks will be answered promptly.

Jeffers immediately responds and goes through the foyer to answer. He opens the door "Yes, Miss?" he asks of the lovely lass at the entrance.

the young miss responds, Hello. A friend by the name of BillW invited me to meet him for dinner this evening.

As Jeffers shows the young woman into the drawing room she notices the beautifully laid salon laden with priceless and tactful treasures. And Jeffers wonders where she is from as he detects an accent but nothing near the clipped tones found in New York. She wonders what she's stepped into as she nears the drawing room where everyone is conversing and dining joyously.
