Thomas Berger referred to a 'backwards' personality as a "contrare" in his book - Little Big Man.

(trailing white-white sand into the salon...)
HelloooOOOooo...anybody here?
I've just returned from the Bahamas...was there for a week. Took one last walk on the beach this morning, then slipped on my sandals and headed straight for the airport. My sweet kittycat met me at the door and licked the salt from my toes...
Withers, I would love a pina colada...on second thought, here's a bottle of 8 year old Bacardi I brought back...pina coladas for everyone!
Whew! Those airplane rides are so hard on the back and knees...(took three flights to get home)...could anyone here give me a massage?

Withers, dear, will you call the masseuse for Eva? She's in pain and needs some relief. Glad you're back Eva, I was a bit out numbered here while you were gone.

Never mind Withers,' said danon, 'Let me take care of Eva. A few years ago I spent some time in Asia, where I became interested in and trained in the techniques of Shiatzu (both Zen and Water), Jin Shin Do, Hakomi, Reiki and Thai massage. Following that, I studied the W. European massage techniques associated with Craniosacral, Deep Tissue, Esalen, Erotic, Standard Swedish, Pfrimmer Deep - Neuromuscular, Trager and Myofascial Release.'

Danon!!!! My god..........and you're not that far away from me. You you may want to rethink telling all of us this information. There is the Texas get together in October coming up. The ladies and many of the men will be lining up. Sounds sooooooooo good.....................
Good morning everybody. It's a beautiful day.

Wow, danon. That was a great five-hour massage! I feel like new! That kink in the lower back is all gone, neck & scalp nice and relaxed, and the foot massage was...well...simply wonderful.
Normally I am told to drink two glasses of water afterward...how many for five hours' worth of work?! I will float away!!!
Yes, BillW, I too wish I could afford a massage every week. I know it would do me good. My sister is a musician and suffers from tendonitis in the wrists...swears by massage, says it's the only thing that works. Did I mention she is also an RN?
Withers...pass that mineral water over here, please...

sumac, go for a 1 hour massage with everything. It is great, I take a hot shower before hand (long stay in my hot tub, but it has been broken for a year) and wrapup to keep the heat internal. This way they have less work to get deep! Ah, I want one now!!!!!!!!!!!

Eva!! I am so glad you enjoyed it. The physical and the mental relaxation is the ultimate goal for reaching those certain desired levels of psychobiological completeness. The study is as old as the human race, well almost. Oh, by the way, I will be in Venice this September. Want something from Murano?
Lola, We would like to be at the Texas get together, but, have our tickets already for Austria, Germany and N. Italy starting the first of September through October. Yes, Munchen during Octoberfest is on the agenda.

Danon,
Can I come, or maybe meet you there in Venice.
I am sure that I can talk Eva and Diane to come with me again, maybe at the same time rather than on separate visits with each of them like earlier this year.
What do you think guys.
Less Branchwater in my Whisky Withers, thanks

Withers, the masseuse for Sumac, right away please. She's never had a massage which we cannot have. No! My masseuse will take good care of you Sumac. Just run out to the jacuzzi and stay for a few minutes as BillW says.
Or maybe Danon would like to try his hands again......Mumble, grumble about the Texas gathering without Mr. and Mrs. Danon...............Munich during Octoberfest.......not fair. But now that I think of it, Munich was the hardest city I've ever tried to find my way in. Thank God I finally gave up on driving myself and took taxis.......But now that you mention it, I would very much like to have something from Murano. Make it quite large please. There's a dear.
HIAMA, Why don't you come to the Texas Gathering? Wouldn't that be fun?? Much better than Germany and Italy.

Why yes, danon, there is something you could bring me from Venice and Murano. Photos, please, and accompanying travelogue.
Thank you for asking! Your trip sounds heavenly. I am envious. Perhaps you could bring Lola a nice chandelier for the entry hall? Or perhaps one of those glorious mirrors...can't have enough mirrors, you know.
Hiama in Texas...hmmm...now, there's a thought. But is Texas big enough to hold him? (giggles)

Lola, We too are sad about not going to the gathering. But, the next one sounds good. (As long as we don't have conflicting Euro plans. We like to travel)
Sumac, Sure I will rub you down, after the Jacuzzi of course. This could get to be fun!
Lola, Munich is no harder to get around than certain parts of Dallas!! There are streets in the Big D that I swear were planned out with wet spaghetti randomly dropped by a blind-folded person who had previously failed miserably in their attempt at applied geometry.
Where else in Europe did you visit?

Eva, Yes, a nice chandelier would go well in Lola's foyer. I'll certainly speak to the planners at Murano and we will come up with something very special, one of a kind, for Lola.
Photo's - there will be plenty. I plan to put an album together after the trip. One photo per page with a nice description of the location for each. Nothing cluttered, just some really good memories.
Hiama!! If you are serious, we actually could meet in Venice. Our Itinerary places us in Venice on 15 September. However, we will be staying at the Hotel Parco Verde La Fenice in Mestre, close to Marco Polo Airport. The number is 041/5420161. We will arrive at the hotel the afternoon of 14 September and spend that night and the night of 15 Sep there. The best way to meet would be for you to check in there. We could all tour Venice together on the 15th, the bus picks us up right at the hotel. We just love to stay there, Chiara and her father run it and they are the nicest people in the world.
