Bill - I did the 1part (pt) vodka, 1pt sour apple liq, 1pt triple sec.

Then added 1pt more of the sour apple liq.

I think it should set for a few minutes to meld the flavors before drinking. Of course one could shake it - after all it is a martini - and pour it off the ice. I did mine straight up - no ice - slightly cooler than room temp. Like my beer!!

Sounds yummy Danon-Lola my dear heart how nice to see you , a kiss for the other cheek please. I fear I may be in live with our new guest Epiphany. On my recent we visited naples, Capri Florence and Pisa and I love italian women. I am even learning Italian from a CD as I drive to and from work.

È buono da parlare il langauge di amore

Living with Hiama? At Lola's? My goodness, I make it a strict rule to find out a person's title status as well as D&B status - unless there is a secret in the closet regarding a Swiss account - before actually committing to a living arrangement. I am impressed, however my dear, that you are learning Italian - and Italians.....

As an afterthought, I don't want to discourage any interest ... financial or otherwise, but let me ask you Hiama, are you fickle? Ciao - Antipasto anyone?

brain muscles..............nice. Body muscles are good too. Here, you two have a little seat here by the window.

All these martinis. I can't drink um. But they sound good. Working by the pool. Directing all the gardeners in their work.

Hiama - a poet - you are winning my heart (not an easy accomplishment) and I do approve of your figures (all of them). I must warn you that Italian women may become possessive...I have never been one to covet (while I do tell a small lie now and again) will the others become jealous of your attentions to me and will you come to Venice with me before the rainy season. I find it difficult to stay in one place too long...si, it is true.

Thanks Lola, just cos I'm a serial womaniser does not mean I have lost all affection for you in my heart. Its just that my heart is very big and it has love enough for you all.

I agree the martinis are getting to me too and I've been drinking cherry vodka over on another thread and I'm felling a little

Tsk, tsk, tsk...Hiama, you really are incorrigible! You'd better not tempt fate with these poems, my dear...pretty soon all your toes will fall off and you'll be quite unable to walk! And what a shame that would be!

Before you suggest a date in Venice, Epiphany, perhaps I should tell you about my date with Hiama in Venice not long ago. Or perhaps Diane would like to tell that story....?

What, Hiama! Is that...a...blush...I see on your face?!

Oh, he really is a darling, Epiphany, even if he is an inveterate flirt. Just how we like our men here at Lola's....

Poetry and Rachmaninov, too, Hiama?! And all those new muscles! Quickly, Withers, I need one of those apple martinis...(gulp)

It's true though, Danon. HIAMA has a big heart. He does. And I have no doubt there's plenty love to go around. I think HIAMA will have to find a way to make it to the good ole USA and attend one of our gatherings. I'm beginning to develop a deep desire to see these muscles he has developing. How about it HIAMA? Whattayasay? Or at least a little photo............

We'd all like to see, wouldn't we girls?

Lola, You are right. I was only teasing hiama, we have talked much in the past and I do feel he is really swell guy. Those muscles are from swimming back and forth from England you know.
Oh, there is a photo, a very good one too, of hiama on one of his visits to America.

Withers!! I will have a triple cognac, please!!
