Now guys.........I sense you've been led to believe some evil stories about me. Ignore the blue guy. He's not to be trusted.

I just played a little trick on him and now he shows up here telling little fibs about my name. Shame on the wonderful man.

BillW? Is that a shark named Mola? Ok,ok, I'll admit it. I do know a person named Mola and she does have sharp teeth, but she only uses them selectively. One must present a real threat to her safety before they experience the pleasure. And take my word for it, she's not easily offended.

So, don't worry, just jump on her back, and she'll be glad to take you over to the other side of the river. Only a select few have made the happy trip.

Thank you BillW. You're right, the shark is Mola, an aquaintance of mine.

And the sun fish is lovely..................... Thank you sweetie for that compliment.

OK, I'm home from Boston. Good trip and fun with a2k Bostonians. I think I'll sit down here and have a little sip of white wine and a few peanut butter appetizers.

Cobalt,

I hope we can get together. Thursday is pretty full, it's all cut up with little appointments that had to be put off last week when I was in Boston. But Sat. or Sun. are both fine. Just let me know.

Lola, I've spoken with BillW and mac11 online and look forward to meeting them too, in their native haunts. Saturday or Sunday night is looking good for me - I guess I will be finding out just how wretched driving a car that has suddenly lost it's remaining Freon will be...lol!
Now, if I have a chance to meet an a2k person in Austin, I would have quite the itinerary for my flying trip, wouldn't I! Ok, everybody together now, pray for rain.... boom boom boom badda bing boom boom boom...

BillW and mac11 have my contact info but I will need yours as well....still have an email address for me at wildmail.com or yahoo?
boom boom boom badda bing boom boom boom...

Cobalt, any chance of coming to Connecticut?

Eva, your bio is inspiring. You sound like a lovely woman with strength and smarts and a wonderful take on life. I look forward to meeting you at the Texas gathering--please say you'll be able to make it.

I've missed you all so much, but I really don't have much time these days. It's good to read your posts and smile at the wit of this place.

Withers, some champagne please and we'll drink a toast to brave women and good company.

Welcome back, Diane! That is very sweet of you! Yes, I will certainly join you in that toast...

(clink!)

The Texas gathering sounds like terrific fun, but I don't believe I can make it. My 9-year-old has a full schedule this summer, and I have to be here. Besides, we're just getting back from a week in the Bahamas a few days before that, and I will be wiped out.

I do hope I can meet you some day. Blatham's description of you..."the face of a cherub and the mind of a nun gone really bad"...is one of the most compelling I've ever heard! If it's true, you must be great company!

If a group ever wants to meet in Tulsa, I could arrange a super get-together. I do p.r. for a restored historic business district here, and it's known for its wonderful selection of local restaurants (among other things.) I know all the restaurant owners, so I could easily put something together...it's a thought to keep in mind, okay?

You stay away from our little girls, dys!
(Just what we need here...more old hippie freaks in vans...oh yeah)

Wait a minute, Diane. I assumed you were talking about an Austin gathering on 7-25. Or is it in October? That might be a possibility....
