My first visit to the USA (2. Albuquerque)

Reply Sat 20 May, 2006 03:02 pm
Well, due to the fact that I attended the A2K meeting in Chicago, I celebrated my first visit in "the new world".

My photos of the meeting are on the "gathering thread", sandwiched between many more made by different members, which really are worth looking at.

A couple of pics reflecting my view about Chicago are to be found HERE.

Invited by dys, we two made a trip in RV through some mountain parts of New Mexico and Colorado.
My photo impressions can be seen on dys' thread Walter visits the US of A outside of Chicago.

Here, I'll post a couple of pics, mainly from Albuquerque, but e.g. from Madrid (New Mexico) as well.

But: a meeeting happened in New Mexico as well, which seems not much noticed and therefore I picture it so to say as the preamble to this thread:

So, in this thread you will see a lot what you already know or at least have read/heard of, like this

Almost didn't see Dys lurking in the shadows in that last one!

Really enjoying all your photos, Walter.

et cetera et cetera

But due to private reasons, you'll have to wait some time until the doors will completely open

(my favourite photo out of all, by the way!)

Ah ha, the photo which almost was ruined by a courteous New Mexican.

Remember, I'll strangle you if there are more photos of me. I have never liked for my photos to be posted.

Beware, the Unitarian Jihad will support my criminal instincts as long as they are acted out with mindfulness.

Heh - without your comment nobody would have guessed who's below that hat!

I, on the other hand, would pay serious money for a photo of Diane seriously trying to strangle someone. From what I've seen in London, she seems to be the calmest person in the world, so that shot would be an extremely rare one. Wink

On the far wall there is a painting of Dys. Who was the artist? Did Osso paint that?
