I have often been called a "dog". Spendius is a small town English gentleman.

(Actually, there are lots of good galleries in Albuquerque, not only related to Indian art!)

A 'normal' street ...

... and a 'normal' sidewalk

(A few additional notes in between, realted especially to that last pic:
unfortunately, I can't post more than a dozen of what I think rather good photos due to various reasons.
That last pic could have been among them, but I gave that man some money, so I consider the posting to be okay.
It's an 79-years old Indian, who sold turquoise necklages at that place. He told us, he was wounded in the Korea war, had had recently again some health problems and was only the second day again out earning some money.
I really very friendly and nice man!)

"Publish, and be damned!" is what I say.

(Just thinking, the Land of the Free is also the most litigious place on earth- cause and effect?)

There is some truth about the U.S. in that, McTag.

Speaking only for myself, I have always enjoyed Walter's photography and was flattered when he included me in his Chicago photos.

Ditto to what Dys said Walter, your photos make our garden look better than it actually is. It is coming togerther, but it takes time trying to get a good blend of desert friendly plants with a few that take a little more water. The white rose takes water, but not as much as I thought. The climber doesn't take much at all. The salvia, the pretty red flowering bush (loved by hummingbirds) is a native plant. One of the remarkable things about the desert is the abundance of beautiful plants which actually prefer poor soil and don't like too much water. They will die if given fertilizer and regular watering. They bloom their little hearts out and ask very little in return.

Thomas and Walter, I hope you realized that I was teasing about strangling Walter. My homicidal feelings are almost always directed toward political figures. Besides, even though Dys' rifle is on the fireplace hearth, he won't tell me where he keeps the ammunition.

I have a suggestion for all who really don't want their photos posted: Just PM the person doing the posting and request that your image be deleted. Keeping things private saves lots and lots of misunderstandings and hurt feelings.

Nothing really spectacular, but I only liked to show the 'modern' block in comntrast to the 'old' sidewalk.

Good point, RP. I forgot that many use dog photos for their avatars. Smile
