Went to Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival today in SF

The Santa Clara Senior Center sponsored a trip to San Francisco today for the Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival, so my wife and I joined a group of 19 folks to spend the day. We started out at 10am and returned at 5:30pm.
Ghirardelli Square was packed with people eating all forms of chocolates including chocolate sundae. There were free samples at different booths, so we came home with quite a few chocolates. It was a fun day.

I remember sneering about Ghiardelli chocolates, and I wasn't the only one.
Good promo, tho.

People in SF are often very discerning re food.
I know I sound snotty, but I follow SF food links, from interest, at least weekly.

How Ghirardelli are processing their product now, I don't know.
