She always requires lots of KY, talk about no lubrication!

I am actually more interested to hear from the 8 people who voted for "Other". What were they referring to with "other:?

I put the "other" option in thinking there might be people who had religious or cultural objections - people who thought other than "yuck" but certainly not "no big deal".

I'd like to hear from them too but I think that this thread has turned in a direction that might make them yuck.

Indeed. (I explained my "other" on the previous page, tho.)

Yes, thank you sozobe and boomerang, that makes sense.
I wasn't thinking of the lubrication factor (my aunt Flo is a lightweight), or the cultural and/or religious option, but I am certain there are plenty of reasons for that too.

re: "Other"

The choices are indifferent "No big deal" or negative "Yuck", so "Other" could also mean very, very positive!

I was curious about the title of this thread. Pardon my denseness, but is Aunt Flo a euphemism for Aunt FLOW?
I'm embarrassed to ask because it seems so obvious now that I ask it.

But, my interest in the thread was peaked by the thought that you were talking about a deliciously oversexed relative, aunt Florence, who brought havoc to the lives of her married nieces when she came to town and did the nasty with all their husbands. What a great theme for a porno movie.

While I can appreciate the female genitalia as a fascinating and beautiful thing, the thought of it covered in blood makes me think of castration. (Or an inconveninetly placed wound) Shocked

I can't help my male-centric view of sex. If I ever were to have sex with a woman though, I'd rather they weren't menstruating. Then again to me the idea of sex with a woman seems unfair since I can't rightly appreciate their beauty in a sexual way.

Which brings me to the question of why I posted a reply in the first place. Laughing

Eryemil - I saw your name as the last poster to this thread and had to come see what you had to say. I once remarked to my brother that it must be nice for him not to have to deal with PMS, periods, etc (he's gay). He shrugged and mentioned that he has 3 sisters and works ina female-dominated field (teacher). Not the same thing, but a good point anyway.

We gay guys have what I've come to call empathic PMS. Laughing

Whenever my female friends have their periods I get Mood-swing(y) as well for some reason. I've found mutual bitchiness is good from time to time. Good therapy.

Up there I was talking about the sexual aspect. Socially, we gay guys are, for the most part very comfortable around women I think. PMS's becomes a non-issue after a while.
