Nice title change! MUCH better!

And I bet that niece & nephew will like being around their Auntie Rae a lot more since she won't smell like cigarettes. Kids today are so anti-smoking. Probably from all the lectures they get at school now.

HAVE A GREAT TRIP!!! (hugs!)

Not to worry ehBeth ~ I saw your messages! Thank you so much! You truly are a sweetheart! (Tell you-know-who that you need gifts! Soon!)

Thanks, Eva! Last time I saw my niece, she couldn't have cared less about me smoking ~ she was too young. But, I will certainly teach her about not smoking during my visit. My nephew is only 3 months old ~ all I want to do with him is cuddle.....

GAWD! I can't wait to get my hands on those kids! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Cool

Congratulations. I know by experience that it's hard to quit. Seems the harder I tried the more I smoked. Then somehow I quit caring about tobacco. One day I told myself, "It's three weeks since I had a smoke." I counted the days the best I could recall, to be certain. "I guess I quit smoking," I said, and I've never bought another tobacco product for about ten years. In fact, tobacco now disgusts me. I hope, mightily, that one day you will have the same feeling. Again, congrats and best wishes.

Thanks, eb. Hope to be there, too, someday.

Okay. I'm really going to sleep now.....Sister does own a computer, so maybe I'll be able to pop in and say hi during my little visit.....

G'night everyone! Be good!

And for goodness' sake, don't forget to smile!

Substitute orgasms for smokes. The best thing about this method is that you probably won't gain any weight either.

Could be somewhat disturbing to other people if performed in public places, wouldn't you say, cjhsa? In a parking lot, for instance..., or a restaurant....

cjhsa, that could prove verra interesting! MMMmmmmmmmmm, I'm going outside for an orgasm, won't be long ... Do you mind if I open the window? I need an orgasm ! ... yeah, the health benefits would be outstanding! You don't smell after an orgasm, it doesn't give you lung cancer, it gives you energy, none of this lethargy stuff! etc. etc.

Not a smoker anymore!!!!!
Rae: I quit cold turkey quite a few years ago. I decided that I didn't want to be controlled by any habit. I just approached the probem with a positive attitude. I fought the cravings when they occurred, and won every time. They lasted about a week and diminished daily for about three weeks and disappeared. I have never been tempted since. If it is important enough to you, you can do it. Good luck.

Congratualtions Rae! The best thing about quitting smoking is that there is so much more room in your lungs for pot Laughing

The congrats are indeed serious. Good on ya!

Hey kids, I'm sure Rae appreciates your posts, but she'll respond when she can ... she's gone to N. C. to visit her niece and nephew, that should take her mind off ciggies, huh!

Well, responding at length about smoking just reminds you of smoking, no? Better to move on...(in my opinion).
