Well, you don't have to smoke them just because they are already paid for, you know.

Less than fifteen cigarettes left. Any left over before I hit the sack will be destroyed.

Tomorrow is my day.

Please be kind.

And patient.

Rae, you KNOW it's not gonna be THAT hard! You've already quit mentally. So get out there and tend your garden, plant that pineapple that's been sitting there for weeks, write those letters you've been putting off, soak up the sun .............. etc.

You've done this before, but this time it's gonna work.

There will always be times in life when we feel more stress than others, and times of crisis too. That doesn't mean you need a cigarette to get through it, after all, you weren't born with a cigarette in your mouth, and you made it until you started smoking.

You can do it:)

Little fingers reach for toothpicks.

Or fudge.

skip the fudge, that becomes another problem..

Weeding, that's good. Did someone say dancing? Moving? Basically, change the subject..

and, of course, congratulations. You ex-smoker, you.

My man has just reached 33 days without a smoke - after over 50 years of smoking. But it took a minor heart attack and a quadruple bypass for him to do it. Don't put yourself through what we have both been through for the last month - quit now.

Eve ~ first of all, HUGE pat on the back to your man! This is very good news!

I'm a bit irritable, but haven't smoked. And, I still had five smokes left from last night. Actually, I destroyed those five several hours ago. But, the empty ashtray is still on my desk. That will disappear soon.

Your man got a head start on me, but I'm sure I'll be posting my days soon.

Be good! Very Happy And, thanks.

nextone ~ wish I could take a deep breath ~ that'll come back in a few days, I'm sure. Thanks for the encouragement though!

I know it's too soon for my lungs to be back to right, but I'm already seeing improvement with my voice (I love to sing) as well as my breathing.

Tomorrow is another day.....Keep me in your thoughts, please!
