I need a spot to rant about work......Ya wanna' help?

Go ahead......make my day!

I usually rant about work at work. I blow off a bit of steam and I'm done, but I'm getting a laugh out of a coworker's brass ones: This woman hasn't worked more than two five day weeks since mid-January. I mean WTF? She went home at like noon today because she was "getting a cold." Oh poor baby! I've already put in about sixty hours so far this week and my next day off is Tuesday. What I want to say to her is GET REAL and GROW THE F*** UP! Someone made the mistake of asking me what was wrong with her and I said, "five day work week." She can't figure out why she's been in the same job for five years and still hasn't been promoted even though she brings the boss coffee every day. He's not stupid; he's going to keep her around as long as he can so he doesn't have to pay for his own coffee. I've known this guy (the boss) for almost half my life and I can tell you he may let you THINK he appreciates ass kissers, but he actually has no respect for them whatsoever. Moron.

Feel free to offer up a rant of your own.

LMAO!

My office is right next to the security office. I never noticed that the security manager always purposely leaves his office door open on Monday mornings until he explained it to me.....
Apparently I tend to rant on a schedule:
8:15 Monday morning--TerryDoo arrives at work
8:30 Monday morning--TerryDoo rants, loudly and repeatedly using the "f word"
8:33 Monday morning--Security manager enters TerryDoo's office laughing his ass off

Well, WTF, indeed! In a period of down-sizing, high unemployment, and massive layoffs, she's held the job for five years. Maybe fetchin' coffee ain't that bad a gig after all.

I work with a very unprofessional guy who has no problem swearing, using racial slurs, and being a jackass in front of customers, even mine. And he doubles my income.

I've gotten royally screwed out of money.

However, it's a very relaxed work environment where I don't have to hide my true feelings from the owners, meaning when I'm pissed, I get pissed and occassionally swear+yell at them. Of course, this is only when necessary.

I also have a decent degree of independence+responsibility.

However, I'm ready for a change and go to a job where I'll actually have to put in more than 10 hours of work during a 50 hour work week.

Just now and again there is a little satisfaction in my job - like last week when my boss tipped his chair, forgetting it had wheels on it.
Ever seen a beached whale.
