Wasn't from pissing, Joe. I simply removed some old ear wax that had been accumulating.
Pesky stuff.

Thanks to Gus and his Qtip tip (god, I hope he used a Qtip) I have lost again the pounds between 222 and 220.
I weighed myself and then cleaned my ears and voila !! greater weight loss (how often should I change the battery in this scale?)

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
You're taking this way too seriously, Joe. But I will admit, I always take my shoes off.
Years ago when I went to Weight Watchers, there was a bathroom line a mile long before weigh-in. I still think that's a bit obsessive.

Has anyone heard from Hiama? He was due for surgery and hasn't been posting lately.

I went to a weight watchers meeting once and the women were taking off their earrings before they weighed in,
so I did too.
Joe (Still 220.)

It's the summer/winter wardrobe switch-over.
Not fantastic news, but not bad news.
Everything still fits, though some things fit more smoothly (in a good way) than this time last year. A few more things feeling baggy would be nice.
Ok. More salad. More chicken soup. I'm not bored yet.
The lifesavers popsicles I'm going to go pick up for my cold-roughened throat are going to be a real treat!

The Equinox has come and gone and for the next three months, I'm going to try to follow the sunset diet--nothing to eat after the sun goes down--at least until I'm out of the habit of The Evening Gorge.
Noddy - you've got me here - what's the connection between tomatoes and mayonnaise?
My weight has ballooned again - a short stint in hospital and some enforced rest, and all my good intentions (and progress ) g-o-n-e!!!!!

Margo--
You're out of the hospital now and recovered enough for just a bit of self denial (dieting) and just a tad of self-disclipine (exercise). The problem is the mind set....a formidable barrier. Think thin, Margo. Think thin.
Ehbeth understands the bonding between mayonnaise and tomato. Of course, for extra taste and calories you can add cheese and/or cold cuts and a bit of sliced cucumber and/or onion....
Mayonnaise is a tasty adhesive.
I took out the tape measure this morning and while my weight is holding steady--between 126 and 127 pounds, I'm undramatically peeling off quarter inches here and there.

You are a star, Noddygirl.
I am not sure about cheese and Margo, however.
I am undramatically peeling off more from the horrendous 180 which I was before the fast. I make healthy and filling vegetable soups - enhanced by the very good organic ones now available in cartons - and a dessertspoon of extra-virgin unfiltered olive oil in each bowl; and eat raw carrots and apples for crunch, and occasioanl glasses of wine for festivity. I don't feel hungry, and it isn't expensive!

You are now officially one of the smaller nations, so George W will be able to decide your fate.
