bethie, I understand all of those tiring verbs except "bind." They're not into foot-binding or anything, are they? Shocked Or is that the canajun pronunciation of bend? Laughing

Down 4.0 pounds at today's weigh-in, for a total of 106.2 pounds down. I attribute it to the unscheduled road trip on Monday and Tuesday when I ate little and drank less. (Went to a funeral in Mississippi.) I expect to have a bit of rebound from that next week...

183.2! Can't believe that number yet.

Mac--

Give that Struggling Interior Thin Woman a tape measure! Tell her to believe the first hundred weight and every missing pound thereafter.

Congratulations.

EhBeth--

You'd wake sleeping dogs, just to see whether they would like to take a ten mile walk.

bind seems to be the eastern european/egyptian variant of bend

I spent a few weeks wondering about "now that you've bint your billy ..." instructions in class

They had free pastry samples at Starbucks, but I didn't take any.
I feel sooooo self-righteous.

I got myself a new toy!!! It's so cool.

A bodyfat scale. A bodyfat scale. A bodyfat scale. Hehehee. I'm excited.

It also measures bone mass, hydration factor, muscle mass, and of course, regular old weight.
You can customize it for up to 12 users.
It records and instantly tells you your last reading.
You can compare over spans of time in cute little graphs.

*doing cartwheels* I love my new toy. Smile

Flushd--

I'm jealous--but with a measured jealousy.

You have an electronic scale and I'm old-fashioned, generously endowed.

Personally, I would have chosen a different diet. Skiing perhaps over the weekend

Not me.

I literally hurt from my head to my toes today. A good hurt. A good worked out really damn hard yesterday hurt.

but my toes?

I know it's from the Saidi hop thing we're doing in our cane routine, but man it's a weird feeling.

EhBeth--

Think of it as a survival source if you ever have to brachiate from branch to branch, persued by a slavering beast.

This is the tough time, mg.
The novelty of the trampoline has worn off.
You're drifting back into bad eating habits.
It all seems so pointless.
Sigh...

Well SUCK IT UP, young lady!
Show me something.

You KNOW that exercise will burn fat and firm muscle.
You KNOW that eating right will reduce weight and make you healthier.
You KNOW you'll feel better and feel better about yourself.

So bounce, girl, bounce.
Uncle George is watching.
